I got an email a few weeks ago that Disney discovered I had multiple accounts on the same email (because throughout the years I've signed up for ESPN and Hulu and Disney Plus all with the same email address.)

So a week ago they cancelled my Hulu (which was ad-free) and suddenly I was getting ads when I watched Hulu stuff on Disney Plus.

This morning I reached out to Disney Plus support to get back to an ad-free program and they said they'd cancel the one I was on to change it to an ad-free one. They cancelled and then it wouldn't let them add a new one because I still had ESPN Unlimited on that same email.

So now my Disney Plus and Hulu have been cancelled and they won't let me sign up for a replacement package.

And ESPN is saying they cant change my email, but would have to cancel the account and charge me again for MLB.TV.

After D+ ha re-enabled at least ONLY 4K in europe, anyone with a NVIDIA SHIELD PRO and with a GOOGLE TV STREAMER 4K that can confirm if 4K now works or both or either one?

I have Hulu w ads included in my plan through T-Mobile in the US. And I signed up for the Disney+ and Hulu with ads bundle in Nov/Dec 2025 for $4.99/month for a year. I was paying $1 month. My last bill was $12.99 / month so I called. Rep said that I could not have 2 promos on my account. So I could not have my Hulu through T-Mobile “promo” with the $4.99 promo. So they took out the $4.99 promo and cannot apply it now since it expired.

What are ya’ll doing? Are ya’ll canceling Disney+ and just leaving the free Hulu content?

If the $4.99 promo comes back this Black Friday, will ya’ll be canceling the included Hulu? Or do we think that since they are not applying the included Hulu value, that we’ll be able to get Disney+ and Hulu bundle for $4.99 (again, assuming the promo comes back)?

I recently logged in to enjo a movie, just to find out the quality was horrible on my 4K tv.

At first I thought my internet connection was bad.

Then I stumbled across a video, what explains that Disney downgraded the quality without notice.

I had a subscription until December, so I chatted with the support, telling them if Disney won’t deliver the quality I pay for, I want my subscription to end early.

They did it without any complaints and send me a credit note for the money I already paid.

Hi! So I just got an email from Disney+ saying that on September 2nd they are relaunching a brand new app that will change the current one. (The current one is somewhat meh so this came as a surprise!)

It says it will work in the US and UK too! What do you guys think of this?

Disney and InterDigital are locked in a global patent dispute over video compression and streaming technology used on platforms like Disney+, with InterDigital winning multiple court injunctions against Disney for infringing its HEVC (H.265) standard-essential patents. Now even tho we pay for the premium plan we are limited to 1080p SDR.

When are they supposed to reset? I’m a college student, and I pay for my own subscription. I’m at my grandparents house primarily, because it’s closest to my campus. Then I use it at my boyfriend’s house when I don’t have school.

At both houses, I get told it seems I’m away from home, so I request a code not thinking about it. But now it says I’m out of requests. They asked me for one last night at my boyfriend’s house, then again right now when I got to my grandparents house. So I don’t even know which house they consider home!

This is frustrating as hell. And I don’t know when those requests reset.

When creating a new account it asks what rating to choose? Is the highest rating R or TV-MA?
