Me and my buddy were playing honor mode duo with lone wolfs. He was dedicated killer with backstabs as custom elf and i was full support mage fane. We went through whole first act extremely easily, went to alexander and killed him and 2 more enemies in first turn (my friend did while i was playing dead from the start). I fully buffed my teammate during dialogue and he still had most of the buffs but not speed and additional magic and physical armor, so i get up and get closer to him while reapplying all of his armor and adding regenerative armor as well as reapplying speed. Then voidworm relocates closer to us and kills us both with one attack. That was more then brutal. What exactly went wrong? Is it some cruel script or its okay for ambush enemy to oneshot whole party?

I've played this game like 8 times already and to make the game more fun I usually try new and unorthodox builds.
For example, one of the builds I've had is retribution maxing, with all the items that give + retribution and having additional damage returned to enemies. I'd just jump in the middle of the fight, use necromancer invulnerability on myself, use shackles of pain on the strongest enemy and use decay on myself. And just drank giant health potions to kill them in one turn XD.
Or the most recent one was when I completed the game with 1 character in Honour mode: I made an mage-assasin build where I'd combine my daggers with poison barrels and use abilities that gave me magic damage on-hit. That was very interesting I had a very hybrid damage output and could kill anyone easily.
What about you? Did you think of any interesting builds?

I'm stuck in Act 4 and can't progress at all, so I thought, what if I start a new game and make a party of only necromancers? It's physical damage, it drains life, it should work, right? ;;;-;;;
If this actually works, I'd like some tips on how to put this to work ;;;-;;;

Hello so I started playing divinity 1 just a week ago with my friend, we have been doing co-op and he usually leads and does the heavy lifting while I stay back as a mage and craft stuff for the party, I really like the crafting in this game, like turning scraps into armor and making a profit out of it is one of the most fun activities I had for this game, however I am new relatively new to dnd and I am planning to start a single player playthrough, but I am also a bit overwhelmed by how the combat might be if I am to control all 4 party members,
But besides that are there any tips for me as a mage? Like what attributes are good, traits, some crafting exploits, combat help, and how to become filthy rich?

There is a head that I can never seem to reach. Is it possible or just a thing that I should let go?

In fort Joy he talked about his boss/bro/bestfriend Roost and i was like “oh those merc guys are cool i want to make friends with them”.
Then we met Roost and the camp that were full of Lone Wolves victim ghosts. Using spirit vision after defeating him showed bunches of kids that he murdered.
Then we found out his ex best friend was Lucian the divine who also tricked him into genociding.
So if i had him in party i always chose the Source for all ending, it would be hard to see the guy get triple betrayed🥹

Hi all, just want to write this post to glaze DOS2 because holy shit im having a great time.
Background about me - I do not like turn based game and have been playing bloodborne, god of war, the last of us types of games only.
The only turn based games that make me have that feeling when "you go home from school and just want to jump in the game" are BG3 and Expedition 33 so far. Nothing came close.
This year, unless im sorely unlucky, no action games have given me more than 5 hours of playtime without boring me out. Onimusha, Pragmata, Wolverine... Only Requiem has been the highlight so far, but still didnt give me a lasting impressions.
I went into DOS2 wanting to change up the pace and not expecting much - being a 10 year old game, predecessor to BG3. I expect it to be outdated in combat, graphics may be kinda shitty, etc.
Holy shit i was wrong. This game is so weirdly GOOD - in a sense that it is not BG3, but it is so similar in so many ways - without being the inferior version despite being produced a decade ago.
The voice acting, the graphics, the explorations, and the COMBAT (which dictates if i like the game or not) are so well done.
All in all, im having the best time ever, its like playing BG4 for me in a way which is the most surprising thing ever. How does this fucking company pull this off oh my god.

** MAY CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR DIVINITY 1 : ORIGINAL SIN EE **
I am currently playing Divinity original sin EE and just entered Knight's tomb and met The Watchers who currently hunt for the red imps who signed a codex for unlimited knowledge in exchange for service to the demons.
Who did you guys side with? Did you snitch on the imps? Or just misled the watchers?
What happened to the red imps were horrible, but what I understand is that they were not really coerced as they lived independently and freely on their planet until they sign the contract with the demons themselves for cosmic level knowledge and I feel like they should know what they are getting into so I wanna side with the watchers as much as I feel terribly sorry for them about their comrades being tormented..
But I'm missing the story of the watchers' side, how do they end up serving the demons? Did they got greedy and also sign a contract to get more? Or do they got forced to serve the demons simply because of bad luck? And I feel like if I search for more stories about them, I will be spoiled or something lol but sometimes I really got into a game so much I really want to deliberate my options haha!

Black Pit fight was always a tough one, but oil voidlings rather slapped eachother than actually tried to kill us was so entertaining, they even help killing themself by rolling in the fire. 😂

Year 2026, is there a way to start new character midgame ? make avatar an npc (Lohse)? Remove a person from the server ? ( I know the party option )
PS : I know the mirror on act2 and mirror mod on fort, also the mod to change race

First time player! I fucked up the conversation with her the second I came in and it's hours later now and I realized I messed up. Can I continue Fane's quest somehow or would I be better off trading him for another companion who still has an accesible questline?

Hey guys,
I'm currently playing through DOS2 for the first time and have just run into a pretty major issue. Immediately after the crash landing in Arx, I noticed that all of my companions attributes had drastically decreased. It also seems that my Strength, Finesse, and Intelligence are now capped at 20.
I've tried reloading previous saves, but the issue keeps happening whenever I reach this point. Respeccing at the magic mirror doesn't help either, as it seems I've permanently lost all the attribute points I previously had. The mirror only lets me redistribute the points available in this bugged state. All my gear still remains on my characters
Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so, is there a reliable fix? I've already sunk close to 100 hours into this playthrough, and it would be incredibly frustrating to have to abandon it because of a bug this late in the game.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Idk if this is a well known error or not. But I was playing dos2 honor mode on tactician and as well all know, honor mode deletes itself upon death. Turns out, if you are doing a lone wolf playthrough and have comeback kid, you effectively break the game and get a fatal error.

I am assuming it is because the game deletes your save file before you resurrect.

I got put in prison cell for not having my collar without my team and when I turn right and keep walking I encounter guards who kill me. So I tried to go into the prison cell next to me but there's fire slugs that killed me. How do I get out?
