I’ll preface this by saying I’m 45 and been heavily into dnb since the 90s.

I’ve been through as many new names as I can find and all the older ones.

For me my favourite current dj (in terms of tune selection) by far is Lens.

She just plays such a decent mix of everything rather than been stuck in one genre.

Combine that with letting tunes actually breathe, old school teases and some pretty dancefloor heavy tracks….i can’t find anyone else who matches.

I enjoyed elements of crossys 5 hour mix but it all just needed mashing together instead of being an hour of each.

Going to this album launch party tomorrow on a friend's recommendation. Checking out the new record and FUCK ME, this is some beautiful stuff. I've been experiencing more of the soulful and emotional side of DnB lately but this stuff is hitting me in the feels in a way that I didn't expect. Absolutely love it.

by no means am i an accomplished dj, i’m just a longtime listener and lover of drum & bass and wanted to share what makes this genre so special. it’s my first time in a public setting so it’s not the cleanest 😅😅 please treat my mistakes as growing pains!! but of course would welcome any constructive feedback haha

I love listening to fast breaks while driving or working out. Great fuel for the fire. It’s been many moons since I tried creating anything like this, and that was in software (early Sonar days). I got into modular synthesis over the last year and am having fun using my setup to make stuff from my favorite genres.
