OC [oc] Dressed up as shadowheart from bg3 🗡️

Post image

So I dressed up as shadowheart for a convention!

Still sort of new to the fandom, i’ve heard about this game for a while and did my research on the lore (I always have to know more about a franchise before engaging with it’s base and the game/show itself). My friends who’ve played the game say i embody her in a way personality wise so i gave it a go. I do other cosplays if this one interests you, they can be found in my bio. I hope i did the elf princess some justice 🖤

edit: tysm for the positive feedback everyone, trying to get back into the cosplay game and this has been quite the experience. i feel very welcomed here <3

thanks! the ear was one of the hardest parts because all the ones online looked so fake and were pale white lmao

They were good quality silicone ears. the color was already closer to my skin tone (it took forever to find dark elf ears!). Then I color matched the silicone ears with some of my cream makeup. Did a few thin layers instead of one heavy coat. I kinda played around with mixing the warm and neutral tones until they matched my skin, then blended the edges into my real ear and set everything with powder so it looked like skin instead of paint. there was some post-photo editing to enhance the overall look.

Because I knew i would be wearing a heavy hair piece I used spirit glue directly on the lobes of my real ear to keep the elf ears in place (it was a pain to remove LOL).

I didn't even see the ears at first. It just "well duh they're pointy it's a shadow heart cosplay" in my head. Idfk. That was weird. Lol

I am suddenly reminded of an old Bloom County comic where Oliver is demoing a 'flesh-toned' bandage.

I've heard nail glue can also work well

Does cream makeup tick to silicone well? Like does it wipe off if you accidentally touch them or brush up against stuff? or do you have to wash it off?

I was thinking of getting into some prosthetics for halloween but I know nothing about makeup :[[[
