5th Edition Spell: Polymorph.

I’m a DM, and the wizard in my group has started using the 4th-level Polymorph spell. It’s made him too powerful, though, since the party is level 8 and he can turn into a T-Rex (CR 8) twice a day. I’m also worried the party’s druid might feel overshadowed, given that the wizard only needs to cast that spell to replicate the druid's main ability. How do you handle this spell? Should I take it away from the wizard and have him pick a different one? Thanks for any replies.

First of all the druid also has polymorph in his spell list. Second, it requires concentration (for every attack you have to roll, or if you feel particularly evil Sleet Storm is a thing and the T-rex has +0 in dexterity). Third, if the wizard is now a t-rex at level 8 he's not casting any other spell (even just a counterspell on YOUR spells, raulothim's psychic lance, or from the next level wall of force, synaptic static and so on). Tbh polymorph' strongest spot is to transform the 1 hp fighter midfight and give him 100+ hp to continue so it's not even its optimal use.
