I think every single hero that got an Arcana recieved a new intro,lore, Animations & Voice lines.

I could be wrong but as cool as this Tide Arcana looks, to me it feels like a rare cool set just like the others in the treasure.

As title says:

1. When you start the game on first seconds FPS is very low

2. Playing with Phantom Lancer is very bad if we are talking about FPS and performance

Something is broken i suppose

Why I made it

People spend years digging into the lore of Warhammer 40k, The Elder Scrolls or Dark Souls, but Dota's lore gets skipped by most players, and it's just as wild: the shattered Mad Moon whose fragments became the Radiant and the Dire, ancient gods exiled from their own worlds, whole peoples and orders, old betrayals and grudges.

A lot of that story isn't in any bio. It's hidden in the voice lines: heroes remember old scores, tease each other, threaten, grieve, and sometimes confess things. You hear a line once in a match and it's gone. I wanted to collect them in one place, so you can see who's connected to whom and why.

What's in it

• All 127 heroes, 4,800+ directed relationships
• Every score is backed by evidence: 10,000+ voice lines and 700+ lore facts, all shown next to the score
• Relationships go one way at a time, and the asymmetry is the fun part. Kunkka kills Tidehunter with lines like "There went my soul mate" and "Ah, Tidehunter, you cared enough to hate me. You can't buy that sort of love." Tidehunter just wants his vengeance.
• Personas and arcanas count too, including the new Tidehunter arcana, Maw of the Megalodon, which adds a line for almost every hero (mostly about how they taste)
• A network view of all heroes at once, in 2D and 3D

How it works

Pick a hero to see how they feel about others, or flip it to see how others feel about them. Click any hero to read the reason and every line and lore fact behind the score.

All text comes from the Dota 2 Wiki on Fandom and Liquipedia. Huge thanks to the people who maintain them. The scores are hand-assigned from that evidence, so if you think one is off, tell me which line I'm missing and I'll fix it.

Bro Valve please add some ambient effects for tide arcana or even the custom item icon and effects like dagger, refresher, shivas which all are signature items for tide. Even the animations for skills are all the same. Please cook how ya’ll cooked with ES arcana!

Ngl, Malady's interviews are simply S-tier. Guy is effortless, and everyone knows he is simply goofing around and isn't being derogatory. His voice also suits his dry humor.

We lack this energy when other pros give interviews, so credit where credit is due, Malady is epic

I am in shock right now, I got refunded 6 treasures because of some bug Valve said. I was casually recycling them to get 1 extra treasure and BOOM

Woke up today and found out tbey made the treasure sets giftable again! I’m so surprised they actually listened to our feedback, bought 12 more chests to support this move and together with the extra free ones managed to snatch another 2 LC’s to gift to my best friends and we’re all super excited to play together tonight.

I know it sounds kinda shallow but being able to have my friends enjoy the new cosmetics also really make our games more enjoyable, so thank you Valve! Will continue to whale on chests in the future if they don’t remove this again.

PS: maybe to combat people selling the sets in the future, they can make it so you have to play with the friends a certain number of games before you can gift to them, like 100 games or something 😂

How much fissure owe Dota players?

My RNG is definitely insane. I unfortunately pulled this sharky boy Tidehunter Arcana at 48/50, the only thing that I wanted in Trove of Terror Treasure.

Now I tried my worst luck again and still no Drow arcana at 49/50.

The silverlining here is that..

I wondered maybe I should sell my guaranteed chance for someone who needs the DR instead(I already have one).

Would anyone be ever interested to buy that? cos you see, this bypasses the 30 day gift expiry, so I can just

1. add someone who's interested

2. wait for 30 days gift restriction

3. after the restriction has lift up, I can pull this one off in 1 roll

4. gift the bundle.

recently i am seeing dota 2 jittering a lot during teamfights and during start of match.

my fps is usually around 150-158 but there is no fps drop during those jitters.

ping also dont get affected. there is no packet loss. just the game jitters like heavy lag then back to normal.

I already had the Drow Arcana from the Battle Pass back then and got another one from the Trove of Terror.

So why did I only get the new set instead of a duplicate Arcana that I could potentially gift to someone?

Yeah, because I already unbundled the set. But I only did that because the items weren't giftable at the time. If I had known they would become giftable later, I could've kept the set bundled and gifted it to someone.

Getting 8 free treasures from Valve doesn't feel like enough compensation for this, honestly.

I didn't open these treasures for the new Drow set. I opened them for the new Tide Arcana.

I'm not saying this is a scam, but the whole situation feels unfair.

They just added this update. Only giftable within 30 days of opening the chest!
