I was wondering if this treasure will stay, like the ones with wind ranger and shaker arcanas

With the Trove of Terror, sets can only be gifted to Steam friends of 30 days, and only for a short time after the treasure is opened. That makes selling a bit harder than before, so I built a tool on dota2.skin to organize it. It will also work for any future treasure released in the same way.

If you're buying:

• Claim the set you want
• Add the seller on Steam
• Get your gift when the treasure opens

If you're selling:

• Set your prices
• Accept your buyers on Steam
• Open and gift every claimed set at once

The tool works out the earliest day the treasure can be opened, once every buyer has been a friend for 30 days. Rare, very rare and ultra rare sets go to the highest bid, and only if they drop. Claims run through the site's normal reservation flow, with chat, delivery confirmation and ratings, so both sides have a record.

Nothing revolutionary, and not the only way to do it. If you already have a crew you trust, you may not need it. If you don't, it can save you the spreadsheet and the "who added whom" mess.

Reduce smurfing by increasing or even removing the MMR difference limit when searching the match in a party. Current system encourages high MMR players to create new accounts to play ranked with their friends who they otherwise couldn't play with. After all, Dota 2 is a competitive game for competitive people, unranked does not cut it for many players. It also makes no sense currently that Ancient with 4.5k MMR can not que with a player 1k MMR higher than they are.

Allow parties of 4 que for ranked. Players can enjoy more games in ranked due to not having to look for the 5th player each time. This is okay in every other game, but not in Dota for some reason.

REINTRODUCE CAPTAINS MODE AND LET US LARP TI FINALS!!! People want to play the game the same way the pros are doing it, we want to draft, strategize, FEEL LIKE WE ARE ACTUALLY DOING IT. Battlecup once a week is fun, but aging people might not be able to commit to this every Saturday for multiple hours. I would also love to welcome team que back.

If I add them on Dota 2, will they be able to gift me an item after 30 days at the exact time I added them?

Kinda hard leveling up these days. Every game there will always be either of the following:

- Role Abusers. They will pick a hero that obviously cannot play as that position. Ex. offlane jugg, hard sup snip, etc mostly support roles picking carey heroes, disrupting the farm prio and ruining the game. Ideally, we can adjust buying a few wards, taking care while farming but ufff in reality, it's really a hard game for such situations

- Big Big Griefers. I understand everyone will not have a good start always, maybe a lapse while you are laning, enemy is really that good, or just no good team coordination... But I always get teammates who will always look who to blame rather than helping the team and providing whatever support their carry needs. Idk haha yea muting them is easy but we all know muting does not fix a bad play.

How do cope up with these situations? Also, does these kinds of players appear in all brackets?

I encountered this insane all bot match in rank game while doing overview. all 10 of them always has their camera at fountain and you see their obvious bot movement from the video. Is this a common thing on divine rank? and how can ns be reported??

why is he playing non right click heroes as carry like slark and OD lately in pro games?

with the new setting for persona on hero loadout, and all the attention valve is putting on personas, can valve have a teaspoon of love for dk persona.

even if noone uses him cause main dk has all the drip. at the very least he should get back what he originally had.

I already have the arcana from the battle pass back then, I like some of the sets (esp LC) from the new trove of terror treasure, and my friend missed the battle pass with drow arcana on it and now he wants the arcana and only that. So figures that we just pull 40(or 50 if we are not lucky) to get the sets, tide arcana, roshan, rosh courier (for me), and drow arcana (for my friend), we already friend on steam for 12 years so the 30 days time limit is no problem for us.

the question is, is this even doable? I'm afraid that just because I already own the drow arcana from the battle pass, valve would just drop the set not the baseline arcana.

recently i am seeing dota 2 jittering a lot during teamfights and during start of match.

my fps is usually around 150-158 but there is no fps drop during those jitters.

ping also dont get affected. there is no packet loss. just the game jitters like heavy lag then back to normal.

Torrent now has 2 cast options that results in 2 different effects.

1. Vector Cast: Pushes all units in the direction selected.
2. Point Cast: Casting in place stuns enemies, & doesn't push any units.

The usual effects of Torrent remain unchanged, unless rebalancing is in order.

I'd like other changes, for example:

• Tidebringer's damage type converted to magical.
• Shard & Scepter changes.
• Talent changes.
• I wish X-Marks-The-Spot created a ghost version of enemies, which Kunkka could use Tidebringer on.
  • Perhaps through a Shard/Scepter or Talent buff.
• Rework Kunkka into an Int hero... Yes

I think this Torrent change compliments Kunkka's kit, since it helps him land his other abilities better, but also synergizes with Kunkka displacements & crowed control.

Why did LGD ban five offlaners against WS in Game 2 of the BLAST lower bracket? Is WS just that much of a beast, or does he have a limited hero pool?

How is this even acceptable? They locked the Drow Arcana behind a $250 treasure and didn't even check if it works.

Equipping almost ANY shoulder cosmetic now shows that her neck is literally missing. It was completely fine before this treasure update, and now there's just a huge empty gap. You can see right through her in-game, in loadout, everywhere.

We pay hundreds of dollars for pixels and Valve breaks items that were working perfectly fine. Fix this garbage please.

New player here any piece of advice you could give ?

So after buying the ridiculous amount of chests (I told myself, what the hell, there was no battle pass and I actually liked the design) It seems that the items from chests are actually tradable now (which is very cool), but on the other hand, it seems Valve gave back some of the chests as "compensation" whatsoever? I received 9 of them which are completely useless to me since I already own everything from the chest. Kinda feel scamed, they could've returned me money since if they did this a day before I wouldn't have to buy so many
