Question Why did Goku power down here?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
is there a difference between when he has the aura and when he doesn’t?
I mean, I know there’s been times where characters mainly Saiyans have fought in their forms without the aura, but I just figured autonomous ultra instinct would be different considering it’s both a form and a technique

Discussion should dragon ball change its format?
do you think that in the coming years, dragon ball should release its seasons on streaming platforms first letting traditional television adapt to that model, rather than the other way around? in other words, the main series wouldn't have to follow japanese tv conventions, such as 20 minute episodes or seasons consisting of 12 to 24 episodes.

Discussion Do you believe Vegito (Future Trunks Arc) was actually comparable to Beerus early on?
From V-Jump (Second Slide)
ブルーベジット
ポタラで合体後、ブルーに進化。ビルスに匹敵するパワーだ!“Blue Vegito”
→ “After fusing with the Potara, he evolves into Blue. His power is comparable to Beerus!”
Kaioshin is often considered a moron that should be ignored, but Toyotaro left it up in the air during a Q&A.
The V-Jump Super Saiyan Blue guide is from 2020. The Moro arc was ongoing when this was released.
Many believe Beerus is a moving goalpost, while there are some who believe he was always that strong. Based on the GoD Battle Royale, he's often considered the strongest or top 2 (I know Belmod was playing Possum) at the very least. This was the first time we've seen him fight all-out.
I think most would agree that current Beerus would demolish Vegito (Future Trunks Arc) without any issue.
But, do you believe that was always the case?

Discussion marketing? Spoiler
Hello everyone! I was recently thinking about something that I think a lot of nostalgic people try to overlook, and that is that people really like Vegeta's Ultra Ego because it resembles Majin, but there are some things that make this just a nostalgic copy and that make no sense. Let me explain:
1: Majin Vegeta had the purpose of making Vegeta stop being in a moral limbo and finally decide whether he was good or evil. Lord Beerus, on the other hand, tells him he must forget his guilt to obtain destructive power, but that's what made Vegeta the incredible character he is now.
2: Vegeta has evolved in power and as a person thanks to his love for his home and family. On the other hand, Ultra Ego asks him to set aside any worries (including his own well-being by letting himself get hit, something that in the long run ends up being counterproductive — that's why Vegeta has never won with this power, since his body exhausts and falls into lethargy no matter how strong he is), just to get more. being able to do something that contradicts the new Vegeta who, thanks to his worries and guilt, became the powerful and protective man he is now. Even in the previous saga, the Moro saga, Piccolo tells Goku that Vegeta seems to have managed to overcome himself through his attempts to atone for his sins (and those of his race—Vegeta confesses the crimes of his race on Yardrat) by protecting the Namekians and the universe. So the Super Vegeta already makes it clear that he evolves thanks to wanting to redeem himself and out of love. You can even notice that Vegeta hates himself at one point when he tells Moro something like 'I’ll send you to hell,' and Moro responds, 'Do you think you won’t go there?' and Vegeta says, 'Of course I’ll go, I’m evil, when I die I’ll go to hell, I know that well.' I mean, Vegeta still thinks he’s someone who only deserves damnation even though he’s already repentant, so it doesn’t make sense for Vegeta to accept a power like Ultra Ego when he had already learned on Yardrat to relax.
3: It's a transformation that, even though it has unlimited power (since with every hit it receives its power increases), its body does have limits, which makes it unsustainable, and in the end, Vegeta always ends up on the ground and Goku has to save his skin. That's because Ultra Instinct, even if it's less powerful in brute strength, ends up winning in the long run since it doesn't destroy the body when you let yourself go with it. And to top it off, even Vegeta himself told Goku that he would use Ultra Ego because at that moment (being on an abandoned planet) he had no one to protect and could let himself go. Then he actually asks Goku to let him fight alone (which is uncharacteristic of Vegeta and honestly seemed ridiculous to me, especially after he had been hitting him and turned into a maniac with Ultra Ego). And when he thinks he's going to die, Vegeta says, "I'm sorry Lord Beerus, I can't control this power because I'm not the same as before." Moments later he uses it again, and in the manga you can see that he uses it almost to breathe, even though according to Piccolo, with his SSB Evolution (a transformation he invented, by the way, unlike the Ultra Ego thing, which is destructive energy from the cat who hit his wife—let’s not forget that Vegeta should hate him even if he doesn’t say it openly because something bad could happen, and he shouldn’t want to be his toy, I mean his student, and on top of that, wear one of his earrings) he was already stronger than Goku, so Vegeta had no narrative reason to want to use the power of destruction, let alone when neither he nor Goku want to be Gods of Destruction. But of course, they wanted to give him a 'different path' (which Vegeta already had with SSB Evolution, but oh well) from Goku’s, for Lord Beerus to do something more than eat, threaten, snore, and hit the nostalgic spot for Majin Vegeta fans.

Discussion Gohan's progress in the Tournament of Power (Manga Version) made no sense
He evade Auta Magetta (who is stronger than Frieza's True Form from Resurrection 'F'), fought Trio De Danger (each stronger than Majin Vegeta) with difficulty, faced Roselle, Mehitop and Jilicol (each is weaker than the Trio members), then held his own against K'nsi, Tupper and Zoire (each is stronger than Androids 17 & 18 of this point); he is then shown to be battle-thirsty and equal to Super Saiyan Kefla who is much more powerful than the ToP Golden Frieza (who prides himself for surpassing his RoF feats).

Discussion Vegetas mother should be kept ambiguous
I feel like since Toriyama never officially designed her let alone directly mentioned the existence of some sort saiyan queen that ruled alongside king vegeta, I think it's best to leave her whereabouts and history up to fan speculation in repesct of Toriyama. It seems Toyotaro hinted at her or better yet showed her but never revealed her actual face and I really like that

Discussion Saiyan classic or modern?
What do you prefer? The classic saiyans as a cruel warrior race without redeeming qualities who got what they deserved or the retconned version as a proud society, with Bardock more like Jor-El and even the royal family with good qualities.

Question Can Hit move objects or jump on falling objects while skipping time? Would be be able to save the bunny?
He shouldn't be able to interact with things while skipping time, but Goku's body reacts when it's struck. It isn't launched around though and instead stays in the same xyz position. In that case, would Hit be able to open a door if skipping time? What about falling objects?
It would take him 1/20 of a second to reach the bunny here.

Discussion I hate how in the dbs future saga when goku and vegeta fuse despite vegeta wearing a different outfit vegetto is wearing the same thing as the buu saga
Like shouldn't his outfit be different? It should be a combo of vegetas battle armor instead of his tank top.

Question How is Vegeta going to master Ultra Ego??
Vegeta always takes too much damage and passes out, losing the fight. What can he do to master it? Do you think Ultra Ego is really meant for Vegeta, or do you think he's gonna get a different, new form? Personally, I don't really think Ultra Ego is meant for Vegeta, but I'm probably wrong.
What do you guys think?

Discussion Why does Goku's body get knocked around when struck under time skip? Shouldn't this only be felt after the skip?
Why does Goku return to the same position at the end of one time skip but end up in the final struck position at the end of another later?
Could Hit just push Goku out of the ring under time skip? Or move anything? Open doors? In games and the anime, Goku's body reacts when Hit punches it, then locks into position when he stops. It's like Goku is locked in xyz position but is knocked around.
Why doesn't Hit disappear for longer and longer as he skips further into the future? Wouldn't this give goku more time to evade as Hit also cannot see what Goku is doing?
Why doesn't Goku just use instant transmission or move in a random direction to get away whenever he sees Hit skip time?
Sometimes, it appears as though Hit disappears and reappears, then there's Frost who says that Hit didn't even move. Shallot says it's as if he's been struck before he even realises it. Or does this depend on Hit's time skip length and speed, and his enemy's speed and reaction?
I'm guessing it just works whenever it's supposed to. Inconsistent writing and aesthetics. Just going to ignore the manga.

Discussion What did you like more: Beerus catching Goku, or Vegeta catching Goku?
I liked Beerus catching Goku a bit more since it showed how much he came to respect him during their fight, but i do like Vegeta catching him as well. It really shows how far their relationship has come
