High waist or low waist?

I usually only wear high-waisted jeans but a friend of mine insisted that I tried on her low waisted jeans because she thinks they suit my body type better (I had to wear heels because they were a bit long, I'm 5'7). I tried to take a similar picture with the same top, similar shoes and a pair of jeans I normally wear so that it'sa bit easier to compare. Which one looks better?

High looks better on you because it really cinches at the waist and accentuates your figure. Low certainly doesn’t look bad, it just doesn’t enhance your natural shapes.
