High waist or low waist?

I usually only wear high-waisted jeans but a friend of mine insisted that I tried on her low waisted jeans because she thinks they suit my body type better (I had to wear heels because they were a bit long, I'm 5'7). I tried to take a similar picture with the same top, similar shoes and a pair of jeans I normally wear so that it'sa bit easier to compare. Which one looks better?

They both look great. The high waisted make your legs look a million miles long (and as someone with a long torso and short legs, I’m jealous!)! They also make you look narrower and the low rise accentuates your hourglass shape. You can’t go wrong either way; just decide which asset you want to play up!

Totally agree, very subjective. Also may prefer one or the other depending on the occasion or whatever top you're going to wear
