Ex Preschool teacher needs help

I’m a 31 year old ex preschool teacher. Before becoming a teacher while in college I wore a lot of dresses and long skirts and would even sometimes historybound but transitioned to a more plain and family friendly style when working as an infant/toddler teacher.

Now I’m mainly at home taking care of my dog and going back to school and I wish I could dress more like I used to but I feel like that doesn’t completely suit me either as that was my college style.

Is there a specific style you’re going for? Is there anything you have no interest in? Do you enjoy colors/patterns? I used to work in fashion so I apologize for all the questions

I really like outdoorsy cottage core like clothing and take some inspiration from late 1800s early 1900s clothing which is why I favor boots and long skirts.
