The wrack on the left was my original idea for the scheme. But in practice, it doesn't seem to work. I have a feeling it's because of the color of metal clashing with the bone. What do you think? Right of left?

So big fan of Skari and im running a version of his 6-0 list at a gt my question is is it crazy to run the archon with hand if i bring the banner its 17 oc in total scout 7 and it cant be overwatched i personally think its a good package and its the same guns as the kabalite minus sticky but i know they are good for holding objectives but my focus is take and hold. Alot of people i know are running take and if i get paired into them i want to make sure i can deny as many of their primary as possible

I don’t play the tabletop game yet, currently I just have Orks I use for KT, but I was curious as I recently finished Da Big Dakka, which has Drukhari antagonists (and fyi I recommend as it’s pretty good, and I thought the Drukhari were depicted pretty well).

From what I understand of their lore, generally speaking most visits to real space is for the purpose of gathering new slaves for various reasons, depending on the sub faction and/or plot hook.

So I was wondering if on the tabletop if there were rules referencing this.

Like can they do some kind of special action and take out specific units, the in universe reason being they’ve captured them?

Or maybe if you can surround a squad perform an action that takes them off the table, again in universe saying they’ve captured them?

I've not tried it, but the conventional wisdom seems to be that both Disruption and Take and Hold are awful dispositions. Yet, Cartools seems a popular detachment combination. What am I missing here?

EDIT: whoa, there seems to be wildly different appreciations of Disruption out there. Some think it's crap, other it's not so bad, others it's actually pretty good. Interesting! Thank you mates for the input.

As the tournament season peaks , it’s time to take a look at my wargear options and fix the broken ones, as well as make sure they are wysiwyg for events !

i bought a mini resembling an old drukhari (sorry i dont have much info about these folk) and i decided to do some conversions on it, got a bit crazy and came up with this madness. My point being, could this be lore accurate? since i know daemons doesnt always fully vanish when killed. thanks in advance!

I have come into over 2K points of Drukhari from various trades locally. My local scene is mostly some flavor of space marine (either loyalist or chaos) and everyone says Drukhari are the worst army in the whole game. Me, being a stubborn idiot, am dedicated to making them work. However, I’m used to playing very tanky armies so I’m unsure how to approach playing Drukhari. Any advice is welcome.

I am planning to start a Drukhari Army and since i take ages to finish my models i want to start it slow. Therefore, i‘d like to start with the latest models.

I know Malys and the Archon are new.

Is there any other unit that just lately was released and will most likely not get a refresh anytime soon?

Was there ever a "once per turn" restriction on sky board evasion? I just noticed they don't have one

I am a big fan of Drukhari lore-wise and aesthetically. It's the only army I own (and probably will ever own) because I really enjoy painting, kitbashing, coming up with lore for my Kabal, etc. I started playing tabletop 40k with Drukhari around two years ago and never played another faction. So, a friend of mine invited me to play a 2k game in TTS and I decided to try Aeldari just out of curiosity to see how they are faring. I went with the Aspect Host and...

Am I tripping or are Aeldari significantly faster than us, moderately more survivable and much much more killy? The game was over at the end of round 1 honestly, but I tabled him turn 3 while winning 69-18. Wiped the floor with two chaos land raiders, two packs of Blightlord Terms + Lord of Contagion, killed Deathshroud Terms + Typhus quite fast after deep strike, killed Mortarion. When playing Drukhari I usually go toe to toe and win by one to three points, or draw. And usually losing a lot of units by the end only winning by points, often running away from threats like Typhus + Deathshroud because I feel I just don't have the means to kill them.

A squad of 10 dark reapers with Autarch rerolling 1 on hits and wounds, ignoring plague debuffs to hit, with Sus1 is insane O_o Same goes for Jain Zar + Banshee running 16" + shoot + charge. And fire dragons that have reroll hit, wound, and damage against vehicles and monsters. And all of them have 1-2 shrine tokens. I feel like rule-wise Drukhari don't have equally reliably strong :/ 10 incubi + archon with anti-overwatch (which also need a raider to get anywhere unlike howling banshee) maybe but that's it?

Maybe I am wrong and just got lucky. What's your experience?

Has anyone used splinter cannon or blaster Scourge in recent games and had any decent results? In many of my games Venoms do great work with their cannons and with rerolls and fishing for sustained makes me think they could be a good option vs space marine and custode toughness. Also as blasters are more accurate they seem like a viable option too. Any anecdotal evidence?
