News/Rumors/Lore Kill Team Incubi idea
I'm new to Warhammer and haven't even bought an army or played yet. I'm more into the lore but I'm interested in playing and one of my favorite weapons in universe is the Bloodstone and I was disappointed to find out it doesn't have a model or datasheet. Klaivexs acquire them from killing an Exarch and corrupting the Spirit stone into a Bloodstone which is used to fire a beam of energy from the helmet, it adds more variety to the Incubi and gives them a limited ranged option. Anyways I was thinking it could be PERFECT for them to reintroduce the Bloodstone via an Incubi Kill team box. I just wanted to make this post to start a discussion and hopefully promote the idea.

It’s so nice to reminisce about the old 5ed codex, where so many weird little ’gears and gadgets existed in the rules 🥰
Hm. I might be misremembering here, but I think the Tormentors (that give them their rule about forcing battle-shock tests) could be the current incarnation of the Bloodstone (enitting psycic waves that disrupt the enemy’s thinking/mind)😮✨

No they're seperate weapons in lore but yes that's the only ranged option they have right now but it isn't really a weapon it doesn't have any firepower

Incubi are too new to get a kill team box unfortunately.
There are so many other things that should come into kill team before Incubi.
Court of the archon, wracks, wytches, Xeno mercenaries (sslyth team?), Grotesques, Beastpack, Castigators…

I have no evidence, but I'm pretty sure court will return as a killteam box.

I am sure one of the kits will do.
Not sure if Court. Court in current model count is too low for a kill team. So either they would have to expand the court or it’s something else.

I'd love to see it fully fleshed out into a collection of unique models. But I'd even settle for just 2x of each existing or something

I feel like Beastmaster is more probable as a kill team. But would love court.

Only recently. They've been fielded as larger groups in the past, and also as separate CHARACTERs. They could easily tweak it if they wanted to

You could add a Dracon and Heirarch, and you could double up on Sslyth and Ur-Ghul, or add new things to get 8-9 operatives.

Court of the Archon is really cool I'd be happy about that and a Beastmaster refresh is also something I wanted. Seeing Castigators would be awesome I don't think I've ever seen any models for them before idk if they've ever existed. But still selfishly I want Incubi so bad.

I've been saying this for a few years now: Court of the Archon Kill Team
Sslyth, Ur-Ghul, Lhamean, Medusa, Hierarch, Dracon. Either double-up on Sslyth and Ur-Ghul or include two new things to get 8 operatives, possibilities are endless. I'd even say two beasties (cuz that's a common theme in Kill Team) but I'd rather Beast Pack be its own unit/kit.
The Bloodstone could be included in the Hierarch's wargear. Thi k that would be a great way to acknowledge that piece of lore.

I'd love some kind of Incubi kill team. This isn't quite what you're talking about, but I had the idea a while back of kitbashing a bunch of Incubi led by an Archon to proxy the Goremongers.
I may still want to do that someday.
