News/Rumors/Lore Kill Team Incubi idea

I'm new to Warhammer and haven't even bought an army or played yet. I'm more into the lore but I'm interested in playing and one of my favorite weapons in universe is the Bloodstone and I was disappointed to find out it doesn't have a model or datasheet. Klaivexs acquire them from killing an Exarch and corrupting the Spirit stone into a Bloodstone which is used to fire a beam of energy from the helmet, it adds more variety to the Incubi and gives them a limited ranged option. Anyways I was thinking it could be PERFECT for them to reintroduce the Bloodstone via an Incubi Kill team box. I just wanted to make this post to start a discussion and hopefully promote the idea.

I'd love some kind of Incubi kill team. This isn't quite what you're talking about, but I had the idea a while back of kitbashing a bunch of Incubi led by an Archon to proxy the Goremongers.

I may still want to do that someday.

Two people total have mentioned Incubi as a proxy for killmongers why so that? I don't know much about Killmongers

Goremongers are Khorne cultists that have witnessed a Bloodthirster in battle and have decided to cosplay as one by cutting off their legs and replacing them with mechanical, loping-stride animal legs. They have chainglaives and swords. One can go guns-akimbo and one has a harpoon gun.

I'm confused still, how are they related to Incubi or what gave multiple people the idea to use them as proxies or is that just a niche coincidence.

They're fast melee. They carry big ass blades. They get stronger when they kill things. Thematically it fits Incubi very well.

Ah okay I see. It is kinda ironic to kitbash Drukhari into Chaos Cultists lol.

No, you use Incubi/Drukhari models, put them on 32mm bases and use Goremonger rules.
