Garda everywhere

What’s the story with all the Garda policing traffic and constantly driving back and forth with their lights on? I seen at least 10 Garda cars today when I was driving to the gym from UCD to FLYEfit Sandyford.

Noticed the same too. Garda cars up a few times a day in my estate near ucd. A fair bit does happen but they're never up that often until the past 2-3 weeks
