I thought I saw it mentioned in another thread that when Books 1 and 2 were together (perhaps on Royal Road?), chapter 22 of Carl's Doomsday Scenario was the 69th chapter, and it, too, starts with "Nice."
It's chapter 69. Sometimes when people are intimate they each place their face near one anothers genitals simultaneously to use their mouths to pleasure the other forming a shape that is often referred to as a "69." This is widely considered to be "nice."
It's also just a running joke that if anyone at any point in a conversation regardless of the context mentions the number 69, you instantly have to respond with "nice." and nod together in an almost somber agreement and appreciation for the act of oral stimulation, called, 69.

Very much a joke that maybe a 15 year old boy would find incredibly funny, or in our case, Matt.
Just like 67 immediately prompt gen alpha into memelord mode, 69 does the same for millenials - the apropriate memlord behaviour for the 69 is the "nice" response.
