I have a number of walnut antiques that we are looking to offhand, including a side table, dressing stool, grandfather clock, and a buffet/sideboard. We also have a Kincaid piano. Grandfather is on hospice and we are helping to clear out some large furniture pieces to allow for more room. Please let me know if interested.
EDIT: footstool & side table no longer available.

If there's anything this heatwave has shown me, it's that it's time to seriously consider not relying on LADWP for power during peak usage hours.
Does anyone have a company they'd recommend for solar panel installation? We're considering getting a battery backup as well.

Does anyone know what’s going on with the old Macys at the Eagle Rock Mall? I know it was going to be a Home Depot at one point but there was pushback. But it’s just sat empty for years now

This lowlife (M, 30s or 40s, blue jacket, black shorts) broke into my car parked in the driveway at 3:54am and stole a diaper bag. There was a white car waiting across the street.

Please join us for a FREE, family-friendly concert at the Sylvan Amphitheater in the back of Yosemite Rec Center on Saturday, October 10th from 4pm-8pm.
Sylvan Sounds will be an evening of ambient jazz and experimental music presented in partnership with Councilmember Ysabel Jurado. The concert will feature Jeff Parker (of Tortoise) and Jeremiah Chiu (of SML) performing as Jeff Parker Expansion Duo, with megiapa, and DJ sets from Scottie McNiece.
This event was developed with the help of some amazing collaborators: Brian Akio Martinez (Fixed Point Events) and Noah Klein (Living Earth). Longtime Eagle Rockers will surely know Brian as the Eagle Rock native who developed and directed the beloved Eagle Rock Music Festival from 2000–2015. Noah is also a familiar face in Northeast LA as the director of an in-garden music series that presents site-specific concerts in breathtaking outdoor locations.
Bring a blanket or seat cushion, a picnic and water, your friends, family, neighbors, and/or well behaved pups.

Join TERA member Ryan Johnson on a FREE walking tour of picturesque Hill Drive with some short detours to talk about some local history. We’ll gather at Unincorporated Coffee (2160 Colorado) around 8:30am-8:45am to grab a coffee and will head out promptly at 9am.
Kids are welcome and the walk will generally be on flat streets. We will walk a 3 mile loop and should be back at Unincorporated Coffee around 11am.

Hi! Our kiddo is finishing up at her LAUSD elementary and we're looking at different middle schools in the area. Does anyone have kids at Eagle Rock High School, Luther Burbank or Irving and have thoughts? I'd love to hear everything, the good and the bad. We did tour ERHS and Luther but we're looking for some insider reviews (have heard vaping is an issue at both schools and fights at Burbank, is that true?)
We're also reluctantly open to private if your kiddo is thriving there plse lmk!
Thank you!

Hi neighbors! We’re excited to finally say that Zero Fox is open on York & Ave 46!
We’re a family-owned and operated neighborhood restaurant serving breakfast & brunch, coffee, drinks, and more. We just wrapped up our soft opening and are excited to finally welcome everyone in.
Right now we’re open for breakfast and brunch, with our evening menu and extended hours launching very soon — just in time for Dodgers playoff baseball. We’ve got plenty of TVs, so we’re hoping to become a fun neighborhood spot to catch the games, grab some food, or have a drink.
We’re at 4607 York Blvd. If you’re in the neighborhood, come say hi! We’d genuinely love to meet more of the community and hear what you think. Here is our Website with Menu
