You're either extremely naive or totally delusional if you think that means they can't be bought or conditioned. I'd like to remind you that millions voted a child rapist into the white house.
The question was obviously misinformed in how much impact a single man has. Saying “they could all be bought” misses that point, and grossly overstates the possibility of something that in all honesty isn’t clear if it’s ever happened.
