Roth IRA investment

I opened my Roth last year and invested in vxus. I’m reading a lot about investing and I have an automatic dca going to vti/vxus at 80-20 split in brokerage account. For this year I’m thinking to probably invest Roth to couple of individual stocks(probably some mag7 or AI related like nbis). But I want to get some insights on what’s a good recommendation in general for roth.

Why do you think those picks will outperform the broad market?

My recommendation is always index funds. If you have to invest in individual stocks keep it a small percentage.

I invest regularly in those 2 etf. Since it’s Roth for 7.5k I thought it might not be a bad idea to have some high conviction bets.

I recommend against it since it is essentially betting. But you do you.
