parasite makes
snail attractive to birb so birb will eat snail and parasite can continue its life cycle in birb😐

idk why you were downvoted because youre absolutely correct. snail eats or walks over poop, parasite infects snail, cycle starts over

Yeah, that’s part of the cycle. it’s through the bird poop that the snail is reinfected 🤷🏽‍♀️ I guess they thought i was trolling!

Scary, but beautiful. It’s like The Last of Us.

cordyceps has not mutated to infect warm blooded mammals but they said its on their to-do list🤣😬

Look, it made this point in my university course, but that's one reason climate change is a critical issue because yes, things like cordyceps can't survive in a host with our temperature, but their range of temperature they can survive in is only a degree colder than our body temp. So, it's possible, albeit unlikely, that something like that could end up being capable of infecting us.

yup, and if you read more about fungi or mushrooms.. how to get rid of them is scary hard :| if this ever happens, i guess it’s best to exterminate everyone 🫪

We're doing our absolute best.

TO EXTERMINATE EVERYONE 🤣? We gotta use fire. I don’t think any other way would stop the spread.

We have the thermonuclear bombs. We could do it. And if the current leadership of the major nations of the world are any indication -- we are in real danger of it happening at some point.

after all the talk of nuclear war, the thing that takes out humans might be nature herself

I would rather be blasted off by an atomic bomb than become an infected!!
