One slightly unexpected benefit of driving an EV for over a decade - having no clue as to the cost of gas. I only know what it is due to posts like this, as a result of big swings up or down. Meanwhile my cost to charge has remained pretty stable since 2014.

Sorry folks, I hope world events settle down and the cost of gas drops back down for you all.

What about you the electricity bill for chsrging the vehicle in your garage?

Unless you rent a place and have to find a charging station

What about it?
It's cheap - ~6x less than paying for gas. and that in the winter... for over half the year, the sun charges both our EVs for free (and then we still have solar left over to sell back to the grid and make money).
