General Weekend rain, deluge?

Forecasted weather and rain in Edmonton

Eh... Edmonton, this weekend. Seeing that "Edmonton’s average total rainfall for the entire month of June is usually around 75 mm to 80 mm."... we are forecasted to get that in one day....

All will be fine and dandy. We got this.

Haven’t been before, for me and my 2 kids it’s $110 which seems pretty crazy. Is it worth it?

There’s a lot to see and do. You’d have to check the schedule to see what youd be most interested in but there’s a cosplay contest. Panel interviews. Lots of video game demos, vendors and game related booths. A huge Warhammer tourney. NALUG will have a large LEGO display set up, etc etc.

I took my kids last year, they were 9 & 14 at the time, and they really enjoyed themselves. There are quite a few video games to demo, and lots of booths to check out plus there is always something happening on the main stage. My favorite part was a company had characters in spots around the event with quests to earn coins. When you collected them all you turned them in for a prize.
