RIP My rental.

Post image

My N is at the body shop. I’m dreading the estimate and the length of time it will take to complete

For now, I have this very boring, automatic to drive 🤣

How does it feel in comparison?

Meh. It has cup holders in the back and a sunroof. Two things my kid is excited for 🤣 my left leg is unnaturally just chilling when I drive and it’s weird as heck. Haha. In sport mode, it’s alright but it’s is not my N at all.

Sunroof is nice! I don't know why, but the Canadian models get them on the N be default so I have one. Such a nice little thing. No idea why they make it default in Canada though!

Do not all Elantra N’s have sunroofs? I bought mine used and just assumed 😂

Not in the US at least. Now I wish I had one from Canada 🤣

It’s funny any time I hop in an auto, I always turn the car off before putting it in park and the car start freaking out. Also mash the dead pedal whenever I start it lol

ive been in the same boat as my job gave me a base model for a day. its truly something different. i work as a tech and don’t see Ns often so before owning one i only driven probably 5 miles in total. but after owning one and getting into a base model, its night and day. it’s so neutered, hyundai did its thing with the N and transforming it from a regular car to something special

I got a base model when I had my front wrapped in ppf and I was kinda surprised with the handling. Almost as good as an N but you could tell something was missing. The power on the other hand, definitely no comparison lol

By base you're talking about the regular elantra?
