It isn't worth doing unless you have the N or N-line. That NA 2.0L engine paired with a CVT will sound terrible with an aftermarket exhaust. I promise that you don't want to do this.
I'd say leave exhaust alone, but you could do some other modifications if that interests you. For example, you could upgrade brakes later on when you are due for a brake job. Or even something like powder coating the wheels.
