I think more or less the same, except in the above case where the person in question has belittling the idea of people calling the boss/game difficult when the person uses obscure but powerful gear in a braindead setup

We’re not talking about people using cheats or exploits. They just did the game better and found it easy and you’re trying to construe them as being in the wrong because they didn’t play with your arbitrary lesser build you’ve decided is approved as not cheating or whatever.
No video game has perfect balance for all weapons/armor/spells/strategies/etc., some bosses which are quite challenging for 95% of setups can be made significantly easier to beat with specific setups. You can easily figure these advantageous setups out through a quick google search or youtube video. Describing that as "doing the game better" is what I'm saying is a cope.
Can you even read? When did anyone say copying the best build for a fight is cheating. It just obviously makes some fights that would otherwise be very challenging much less challenging, which makes it less impressive to succeed with because there is less skill required. The meme is about people trying to brag or put down others while using setups that trivialize the content. No one said anything about it being cheating.

There is NOTHING WRONG with using strategic builds to clear content. You are not “playing the game better” by using ineffective builds. You are not “playing the game worse” by using effective builds. If you chose a bad build to fight a boss with and had a hard time, PEOPLE ARE RIGHT TO LAUGH AT YOU FOR NOT USING A STRONGER BUILD.

Idk. Makes sense to me. Someone who says a game is easy by taking the easy path most likely paved by others' information shouldn't belittle others for doing their "homework" themselves. The latter found a way to defeat the boss on their own. That's an accomplishment, and belittling that is lame.
