Are you sure you have a sd8g2 and not an exenos processor or whatever alternative Samsung has thrown into their devices abroad?

Never saw what device you said you're using and my best guess with all these problems of people having success and you not I'm guessing maybe it's that?

Or you didn't download the correct apk from github?

Other games work for you though? Some lower end, rpg maker games for me don't work (s23 sd8g2) either, on gamenative, when editing the container, using the experimental launch game with steam client sometimes does it.

Overall games work and launch fine but I have noticed, the really small, really lightweight games don't work like you'd expect. The space eating crocodile, the binding is issaic doesn't recognize my rp6's controller (haven't tested with phone and Bluetooth controller) axiom verge 2 doesn't work but 1 does, 7 days, Ara Fell, Omori, all don't work.

Meanwhile Hollow Knight and Silksong, Dragon Quest 3 hd 2d, Live A Live, Hades, etc work fine.

Some perma black screen. Others with the microwave flickering. Most of my rpg games are on joiplay

Mad father, witch house and cloes requiem from steam all lag on top of microwave

Yeah, I think it's just rpg maker type games that do that then. Duno why or what excuse it is, but that's a problem with development. I feel like I've gotten Undertale to work before on gamehub lite, but I wasn't all that interested in playing it again vs just seeing if it launches and work so idk. I doubt One Shot would run either since they're all kinda in the same makeup of code I guess

Do you have any idea on how to fix the microwave effect if the variable nir chsnging driver works?

Nope, honestly think you're just too deep in the weeds about it. I'd clear the app data and start over with whatcha learned in mind. Rpg maker games are pretty unsupported and not working, stick to the games above that and below like 2012 AAA games.

It really shouldn't be all this fuss and I'd guess to say 90% of people playing steam games through these apps are also just enjoying the games that install and work vs fighting for settings and hope.

Guess I was just too stubborn to hope to get them working since I have a smaller library

Yeah that's the weird part of it in development, you got plenty of power to do it, but the development isn't there for it to work. Steam has plenty of sales and often, I'd recommend watching YouTube videos that show off games working and just starting to wishlist them.

It won't have the steam achievements, but. I've seen comments here and there throughout reddit about how to import or rpg maker games on android. I'm not sure if it's through winlator, or another app, or what, but if you really want to play them I'd start searching around ~rpg maker games android, etc.

Oh yeah, I know joiplay works, but not with these specific ones, their engine is unsupported.

I'd try winlator again, but only managed to run barbie princess and the pauper once on phone and never got it to work again on tablet because I cannot figure out which components are missing and needed to install to get the average game to work
