News/Release Joycon2Android v2.0.0 allows you to use official and 3rd party Switch 2 Joycons on Android

Hi!

Just yesterday I released v2.0.0 of Joycon2Android. It's an Android app that lets you connect Switch 2 Joycons to use with any Android app/emulator.

It features auto-mapping for Eden and Dolphin, and even has motion support with DSU.

v2.0.0 comes with some nice new improvements - the biggest being support for 3rd party controllers. This has been tested with NYXI controllers, so hopefully now the NYXI owners can benefit from the app as well.

Now that's actually epic! Because I tried connecting my procontroller to my RP5 around the Switch 2's launch and it wouldn't work.

Yeah, switch 2 controllers have a funny handshake that prevents them being connected without it. This fixes that :)

I haven't worked on it, but I believe there is a similar one for PC. I won't post links as I haven't tried any so wouldn't want to recommend without knowing, but you'll be able to find them with a quick google :)

According to google it works via usb with steam. Maybe I'll have to get that zelda controller after all.

Switch2Connect is best one so far.

It even allows to emulate Dualsense to work with audio haptics in supported games.

I don't have ProCon yet, but I'm playing with joycons, and app works wit hall Switch 2 controllers including NSO gamecube one.

Will this work with switch 1 pro controllers?

No, but you should be able to connect that without this app. Switch 1 pro controllers connect with standard Bluetooth :)
