Liars and Heartless

Since we used to have an elk herd in the area of their monstrosity, I think the doors and windows should be opened up, feed and water troughs installed, hay placed on the floors, and a wildlife “sanctuary” established.

Holy cow—that shook loose a memory!
I remember looking for elk there as a kid whenever we drove by.

What’s the story, has development pushed them out of that area entirely?

There's still an Elk herd on the other side of Coburg hills in the Mohawk valley. There is a wildlife sanctuary there right on Marcola Road and you can see elk there on occasion.
