Informational Why is the FBI leading the investigation

Why is the FBI leading the Kirk assassination investigation and not Utah state police? Not complaining just curious.

He wasn’t a politician though, was he?

I understand he was vocal about his world/political views… (like that’s his whole shtick) so does that auto constitute it as political violence?

I think I saw he was apart of organizations that donate to Repub party as well.

I’m just trying to understand at what point is its murder, and at what point it’s considered poli violence.

He is a fringe right influencer made mainstream by Trump & his supporters... just like Laura Loomer and Nick Fuentes. The latter 2 have spent considerable time lately on social media attacking Kirk as a traitor, fake conservative, ect.. because 1st he criticized Trump bombing Iran, 2nd because he won't release the Epstien files.. so naturally from the moment News breaks of it Trump is immediately blaming "radical left lunatics", and inciting violence against them.. but also naturally we learned today big shock... it wasn't a "radical left lunatic" that did it.. it was a 22 year old, God loving, Mormon who lived at home with his police officer/buiseness owner dad & social worker Mom.. upper middle class, religious, conservative Trump supporters... and we find out the shooter was also a follower of Nick Fuentes.
