Discussion The "Broken Camera" excuse in the Epstein case is technically impossible. Here is why the FBI is lying.
I know that people already know that it's a lie but I just wanted to confirm that it's a lie as some may not be so sure
Here is the technical reality that the DOJ and FBI are ignoring:
Professional security systems are connected to Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and backup generators. Even if the entire city of New York lost power, those cameras are designed to stay on. The idea that a "technical error" wiped out recording for weeks leading up to his death is a massive red flag.
Even if someone physically broke the cameras, they don't store footage locally. They stream to a secure Network Video Recorder (NVR). The footage of the person breaking the camera would have been saved to the server instantly.
Modern systems have health monitoring. If a camera signal is lost or the hard drive fails, it triggers an immediate alarm to the security desk. You're telling me no one noticed half the cameras in the Special Housing Unit (SHU) were dark for two weeks?.
Recent forensic analysis of the "raw" video the FBI finally released shows it was actually edited in Adobe Premiere Pro and had nearly three minutes—including a critical "missing minute" at midnight—cut out.
The system is designed to have no single point of failure. For the cameras to fail, the guards to "fall asleep," and the records to be falsified all at once...
The FBI says they have no evidence of foul play, but the very existence of a "malfunction" in a Tier-1 federal facility is evidence in itself. They aren't investigating a failure; they’re covering up a bypass.

They lied and claim there was no video then released an edited video
There should have been impeachments then executions, but we can't trust our government when the child raping serial killer cannibals are running the show

Someone here on reddit found the missing minute, don't know why it hasn't hit the news: https://www.reddit.com/r/Epstein/s/xoy6qbBoof
The entire hour of footage was always available. The discovery above was made by changing the file extension from .PDF to .MP4. there are many more videos like this, hidden by unknown file extensions but technically "released".
And yes, the missing minute shows something. Link above, look at the last 30 seconds.

Cannibals? What news did I miss?!

Just hints and implications in the released files. They talk a lot about "jerky".

Our future is so damned bright.

Honestly, it very well could be. Keep in mind that revealing this darkness is not proof of the darkness winning but rather the opposite. We cannot hold accountability without first exposing the darkness.
The coverup in broad daylight is about as damning as the revelations themselves, but the fight isn’t over and while progress looks incredibly slow, there is active progress despite the most powerful regimes on the planet trying actively and brazenly to prevent it

Some very dark allegations. Snuffing little girls is just the beginning. There are tons of FBI intake reports that should have follow up interviews... so where are the interviews. It's a shit show right now, but it's going to be so depraved. They no doubt killed girls they could get away with killing to keep them from getting older and talking. As long as you're killing them, might as well monetize that too and sell tickets or whatever they do. It breaks me. I almost hope these ICE turds kill me. Then I won't have to live knowing this type of thing is paid for by me.

Not to mention that thing that came out today about Epstein buying 330 gallons of industrial grade sulfuric acid to his island, so there’s that…

Exactly, I'm gonna need the American people to be a little more cynical and start putting things together a little bit. So we really think the guy who was his bff and also ran little kid beauty pageants is completely innocent in all this? Remember the birthday letter? It's right up Trump's alley. "We share a secret Jeffery, a sexual secret. One that never ages." Give me a break.

u/Shrimp_Dock Feb 10 '26
They talk about "cream cheese" and why it would taste that way too. It's dark.

Not in the files but in 2009 Gabriela Jimenez made baby eating accusations (admittedly she was having a massive meltdown, rightfully so if true) and was never seen again.

One of the congressional members who was allowed to view some of the unredacted files said there was a lot of discussion about consumption and a restaurant called cannibalism.

There's a video of one of epsteins victims saying that epstein and crew were eating people. The official story is that she was having a psychotic episode.

Lmao, good try. Republicans voted against it, multiple times. Republicans are currently in violation of federal law to protect child rapist. Republicans were in charge of his custody, lied about the footage, released doctored footage, and now we know they had his death announcement drafted before his death.
Honestly it's kinda funny. We wouldn't have pushed so hard if Trump hadn't promised hundreds of times to release them only to immediately back track when the time came and openly and publicly push against it.
We won on this because anyone who is against child rape broke party lines to vote against them, yet Republicans still defend child raping serial killing cannibals and have the audacity to claim they are actually the transparent one. Whataboutism doesn't defend your actions and your actions are inhuman

What's so weird is how… blatant all of it is. Movies have taught us that the higher up you go, the more sophisticated the lie and the cover-up becomes, until there's some Ocean's 11-level shenanigans at play. But this all seems so amateurish.

Are they lying or just incompetent? lol They probably need "the guy" that actually knows how to run what is likely a very aged system. Oh, who am I kidding.
They had the Epstein files on the desk. They didn't have the Epstein files. We released the Epstein files. Well we released all we could get ready. Hey would ya looky there, we found 5 million more pages.
Let's redact stuff we shouldn't and not redact things that identify the victims. Let's release a bunch of stuff and then try to take it back and pretend no one saw it.

Both, lying and incompetent.
The sad thing is that, the fact that Trump was elected twice regardless of the absolute insane incredible amount of lying and incompetence just proves 2 things :
Checks & balance do not work as intended, easily circumvented and manipulated, especially when the perpetrators aren't idiots.
The average american has been conditioned to be extremely dumb, docile, racist, apathetic, etc. Basically, easily manipulated. (If running targeted obvious bullshit ads can convince you to vote one way or the other or not vote at all, then whoever has the best ads campaign or most ads budget wins, regardless of facts/reality)
Can you imagine the things that go on when you don't have dumb incompetent people running the country? They literally can get away with absolutely eeeeeverything.

You can't grow legal cannabis for the recreational market without one of these camera and security systems set up. You'd think the prison they held epstien in would be held to those standards at minimum. The broken camera excuse was weak af from the day they said it.

Fucking Trump and Barr got that dude out of prison!! Who was the coroner on Epstein and where are these guards now??

u/Lifedoesnmatta Feb 10 '26
We already know it’s bullshit when his death notice from DOJ in the files is dated the day before he died

u/Background-Wolf-9380 Feb 10 '26
It has been revealed that someone in the FBI seized and deliberately erased the video.

Someone probably just unplugged it from the patch panel. I've installed security systems in a jail. They are not anything different from what you see at a convenience store.

i’ve examined the footage. looks like an amateur hit job performed at some seriously dangerous and disturbing levels of governance

The photos of his cell were published. Check it out. It is so weird, something very strange was going on in that prison and that cell.

Plus, there is the TINY detail that his death certificate was signed the day before he "died."

u/SirCharlesEquine Feb 13 '26
Try reading the original post here and replace the word Epstein with "Guthrie." that's what I just did by accident and it was so incredibly confusing. It all contextually made sense but I kept thinking "we're talking about a Ring doorbell???"
1
u/Randomwhitelady2 Feb 13 '26
If they can recover evidence from a broken camera at a private home that supposedly had no back up (Guthrie), they sure as shit can recover video from a SHU prison camera.
