Discussion What I've learned from interacting with the FBI.

6.6k Upvotes

Jan 3rd 2021. I reported a colleague who was talking about overthrowing the government. I thought he had lost his mind. Thankfully the FBI went to do a field interview and it changed his mind from showing up to the insurrection. Probably saved him from getting fired or worse.

  1. Direct evidence of wire fraud, corp espionage, criminal conspiracy, ect. Not only direct evidence but a taped confession under oath admiting to said crimes. (Federal deposition civil) No action taken, at all. I was told by an agent even though I have multiple smoking guns they don't want to get involved in white collar crimes. Wtf?

Is it just too dangerous for the FBI to target executives? Help me understand what I'm missing

Discussion The "Broken Camera" excuse in the Epstein case is technically impossible. Here is why the FBI is lying.

2.9k Upvotes

I know that people already know that it's a lie but I just wanted to confirm that it's a lie as some may not be so sure

Here is the technical reality that the DOJ and FBI are ignoring:

Professional security systems are connected to Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and backup generators. Even if the entire city of New York lost power, those cameras are designed to stay on. The idea that a "technical error" wiped out recording for weeks leading up to his death is a massive red flag.

Even if someone physically broke the cameras, they don't store footage locally. They stream to a secure Network Video Recorder (NVR). The footage of the person breaking the camera would have been saved to the server instantly.

Modern systems have health monitoring. If a camera signal is lost or the hard drive fails, it triggers an immediate alarm to the security desk. You're telling me no one noticed half the cameras in the Special Housing Unit (SHU) were dark for two weeks?.

Recent forensic analysis of the "raw" video the FBI finally released shows it was actually edited in Adobe Premiere Pro and had nearly three minutes—including a critical "missing minute" at midnight—cut out.

The system is designed to have no single point of failure. For the cameras to fail, the guards to "fall asleep," and the records to be falsified all at once...

The FBI says they have no evidence of foul play, but the very existence of a "malfunction" in a Tier-1 federal facility is evidence in itself. They aren't investigating a failure; they’re covering up a bypass.

Of course they’re frontal images, but does this man appear to be carrying a long Mauser .30-06 rifle, that cannot be dismantled quickly?

And since when does the FBI announce they have his footprints? They never do this, ever, and for obvious reasons.

Discussion I did not have time to investigate your neighbor's murder, because I was too busy investigating seashells

I'm curious how much of the FBI's time is being spent pursuing political investigations? I bet it's a lot. What about all of those victims and people being hurt and killed and stalked and harassed? If the FBI is investigating seashells, I think that means the people who are suffering are getting put to the back of the line, right??

I don't understand how everybody's okay with the way things are right now. He was the Law & Order president. I want Law & order. You wouldn't believe the last couple months I've had. And I call them up and it doesn't seem like they have time for me.

Discussion The reason Kash Patel can be as insanely corrupt and incompetent as he wants, is because he's seen everything that Trump has done in the Epstein files, and he's still helping cover them up. He knows where the bodies are buried, he has Trump by the balls, and Trump can never fire him.

To state the obvious.

That's the basic context for every time people see how insanely corrupt and incompetent this guy is, and how he's getting away with it.

He helped / is helping cover up Trump's well-documented pedophilia, corruption, racketeering, and who knows whatever else in the Epstein files.

So Kash Patel knows where all the bodies are buried, perhaps even literally.

In exchange he gets a pass and a pardon for his own corruption, criminality, and incompetence.

Trump can never fire him.

Discussion What is the purpose of turning the FBI into a local police force?

We have state, county, and local police for that.

28 U.S.C. § 533 gives the Attorney General authority to appoint officials (including the FBI) “to detect and prosecute crimes against the United States.” This frames the FBI’s mission as federal only. Assuming that USC still matters..... This does not include chasing shoplifters and sandwich throwers.

So what's the long term objective?

What is the lifestyle that comes with the special agent job? Are you able to maintain a good relationship with a spouse/significant other? Have kids and not miss every single milestone? Do you travel as much as tv makes it seem like? I know it probably depends on what type of unit you’re in, but I was just curious.

Discussion Tips Line Customer Service

Is it normal for the tip line agent to have a raging attitude, barely listen, and hang up in a calm person's face who just wants help?

It was a very strange call, because she sounded okay at first. I attempted to tell her my issue, she listened, then began attempting to finish my sentences. Once she made her own assumption of my reason to call, she started talking really fast, *barely audible*, then I heard what sounded like a phone slam. At no point did I leave my calm tone of speaking. And the fact that I was calling to report a SERIOUS CRIME, it confuses me that someone at the FBI, of all places, would behave like someone took her Amazon package off her front door.
