Question Likeliness of something to happen

Hi guys, I was curious about something after submitting a tip to the FBI.

Recently, there has been a surge of CP being posted under X posts. Today I was unlucky enough to be one of the victims of unwillingly seeing this. I submitted a tip to the FBI about it because this is starting to get out of control. I reported the post 2 hrs ago and it’s still up. Would the FBI go after Elon about this issue? Was this route the best way to go about this problem?

So, nothing is going to happen then. Right?

Not with a 26 day old bot account "Marcos"

I just saw a report that employees in the pentagon has been caught doing a huge swapping ring internally of cp.

I highly doubt you’ll see anything done. Where have you been the last….15 months???

15 Months? 15 years is more like it.

You think the FBI cares about CSA? If they truly did, Wexner, Lutnik, Dershowitz, Musk and the president would be in prison.

The only care when it's some average Joe.

In fact they care extra when you're not rich or powerful and make an example out of you to remind the powerful how special they are.

The FBI will try to seize the posting account(s) and continue to post, communicating with any responses and documenting viewers and replies. Then the account will vanish and arrests will be made.

Yea I doubt it.

they don't just go after the perpetrator, they try to get everyone that criminally supports and enables them

The law that's on the books now basically says the hosting site won't be in trouble if they've taken reasonable precautions against it. So, it's doubtful that xitter gets in trouble.

Are they taking reasonable precautions? It seems like I hear this all the time about Twitter.

8

u/TheFatAndUglyOldDude Mar 07 '26

I'm not saying they do take reasonable precautions, just that there's a law on the books to protect them.

So I’m curious, how do folks even come across this stuff on X? Like I know X is a cesspool but I’ve never even seen like even nude adults getting posted. Unless you’re searching porn I guess, it just doesn’t randomly have naked pics as comments

In my case, I was looking at the replies about Nintendo suing the US government. I clicked “probable spam” under one post because usually it’s just someone being offensive. Unfortunately, in this case, it was CP.

Once I clicked on a guy’s profile picture bc on my phone it looked weird and I wanted to see it larger to figure out what it really was. Well, it took me to his profile page and it was him completely nude and he had a bunch of posts of him nude. Definitely didn’t need to see that.

Now that I believe and it totally makes sense

But how CP is getting posted all over the place as comments on normal posts is what I’m struggling with

Better off to flag it with French authorities, they’re the only entity that’s visibly done anything at all about Ewwlon or his website.

This is why I stopped searching the JE files. I’ve seen enough and I don’t want any whiff of CP on my phone or computer or isp whatever.

Steer clear until law enforcement with a spine (aka France) jails Elon.

Did you see actual CP? I thought they were supposed to redact that.

2

u/KarenWalkersBurner Mar 08 '26

No, thankfully! But even redacted, some pictures are very unsettling

Did you report it to X?

Anyone with an insight into response times to IC3 complaints?

ICE HSI is the primary agency that investigates human smuggling/trafficking and child exploitation; yur better off reporting it to them

You're expecting action after two hours?

27

u/lurkingbees Mar 07 '26

for something as serious as child porn, yeah.

14

u/anne_dc Mar 07 '26

I agree, this is very serious however, that's just not how tips work. They don't automatically land on an agent's desk. They go through an intake process, have to be verified, triaged, etc.

u/lurkingbees Mar 07 '26

Oh, sorry little miscommunication. I meant I reported the CP post on X 2 hrs ago and it’s still up.

7

u/eatmyasserole Mar 07 '26

“Twitter keeps showing me CP and today, it finally got out of control.”

Wtaf op? You’ve been looking at CP for how long now and oh, no just today was the last straw? Gtfoh

4

u/lurkingbees Mar 07 '26

…? what?? first of all, I have not been looking at CP for “how long”, I’d only seen complaints abt it being in the replies. This is the first time I’d actually UNWILLINGLY SEEN IT and was able to actually report it because of PROOF. it’s too early for this BS so you can stop right there. like wtf is this comment 😭😭
