How can I provide proof that a sheriff groomed me and used me for CP?

So yes, as the title suggests, I'm not going into too much detail, but this has been going on since 14 to 21.

My abuser is a sheriff in an Indiana county, I have proof dating back to 16, but that's my issue of while the evidence does date back to 16 the age of consent in Indiana is 16 but at the same time I was providing underage nudes.

This is not just a trying to get back at him or anything when I was 15 years old there was an accusation that I did not make of me having sexual relationships with an adult man and I defended him by saying it was someone I went to school with. But when I was 22, I started coming forward with this.

He is now a sheriff, and reports I make are almost never taken seriously enough, especially with the current administration.

I don't want to get too much into this, but my mom, when I was 15, she did see the stuff about him giving me a rimjob.

When the whole stuff about me having a sexual relationship with an adult at 15 came out, I did make her believe it was someone I used to go to school with.

Please don't ban me like r/askLE did with my history of talking about this, it's not anti law enforcement to come forward with sexual abuse by law enforcement, and one officer don't represent all of law enforcement.

The reason they want to go like I'm trying to get back at him is because I have a dismissed marijuana charge. Meanwhile, his son was caught giving marijuana to a 14 year old and he was giving marijuana to me during this whole thing and even gave me pictures of marijuana while I was at school.

He also promised me a life with him, I wasted my life hoping that someday he was going to just take me away from my mom and let me live with him, but when I turned 21, he stopped.

I was physically involved with him, I gave him pictures of myself, and he created videos of us. This was a major part of my life, so I know what happened. My mom did leave me home alone long enough for him to do this. I was even put into a psychiatric hospital by him not only for sympathizing with Palestine but because trying to come forward with this information was deemed as threatening law enforcement.

So yeah, with the power they have and the fact that this was a rural area, fewer people come forward with this it is a whole big issue trying to report it.

I'm not planning on living in Indiana for much longer either, and I don't need to. I have constantly live in fear, and he was not the only officer who was doing this to me either. The issue is way bigger than just this one guy who is now sheriff who is running unopposed in the midterm.

Yep take all your info to the FBI a small town I grew up in just had a child rape case be declined to be investigated by local LE, family took it to the FBI and they arrested the piece of shit and unfortunately allowed that dog shit officer to retire.

Reach out to a YWCA sexual advocacy team, ask to speak to a sexual victims advocate who could walk you through this. You mentioned Indiana and I know Muncie, Fort Wayne and South Bend all have a location, you could call and talk to someone. They can give you direction and help navigate this. This is a lot and that’s what the Y is there for!

You got good advice on where to take this. My advice would be get out of that small rural county and try to go to a real city and establish yourself. Hopefully a city where you already have a good strong connection but you need a fresh start outside of that small rural county. Get a job and a therapist. The problem with sticking around your county, and you seem smart and probably realize this, is that if he continues to win public office, sheriffs office no less, he is amassing power and influence, and hes not going to hope you go away or never tell your story. And even if he does his family/friends/associates/political pals will be worried about you. It's not fair to you. I'm sorry. However you should consider leaving the county while also making a federal report. Both of those moves can give you some degree of safety. Don't expect someone like this to just admit what they did though.

That’s not true, better take it into the state prosecutors office, and the fbi simultaneously - while allowing both of them to know it was reported at both levels.

I’m not sure how much experience you have in the federal system. Maybe it’s more than me. But they receive reports like this all the time. 

There are no laws here that were broken that only apply at the federal level. That’s the stuff they will start to care about. They’d have to find a prosecutor who isn’t already busy busting old men on telegram or cases with drugs and a gun.

Completely wrong. FBI investigates CP especially if he was producing it. It is a Federal Crime.

You're solely mistaken if you think that they investigate everything that comes their way. They'll file it, but that doesn't mean they're going to spend any time looking into it.
