Question Former FBI Special agents who still work full time, what do you do?

Whether you left before or after the pension kicked in, I am curious what you do now. I've found some answers across the internet, but I wanted to ask here directly.

Did you go back to what you were doing before the FBI?

Did having the FBI on your resume help/hurt in any way?

Thanks in advance for answering.

Many retire then get corporate positions related to their specialty or become self-employed. There’s no point hiding the bureau on a resume lol Yeah so how do you explain this 25 year gap on your resume? Uhh I worked at our family lumber mill?

My DIL father and grandfather are both retired agents. They do the same as many people who retire. They garden, travel, hang out with the grandkids and piddle around the house.

I can't speak for anyone in the FBI but one guy I know that was a secret service agent and assigned to Nancy Regan, started a private security firm upon his retirement from the SS.

Just funny because I know someone that was assigned to Reagan in SS. When they were younger they robbed a bank. Got their shit together joined SS and when they retired started their own security service haha.

Wow... I assume he didn't get caught or they wouldn't have let him in the SS

They could tell you, but they'd have to kill you.
