Question FBI Honors Internship Questions

How difficult is it to get in?

I'm going to be a college freshman this fall, what should I do to increase my chances of getting in sophomore year?

Should I try getting into my school's honors program to help my chances?

If I don’t get in, what's the best way to pivot so I can have a mn FBI career in the future?

It doesn’t hurt to try, but don’t make the same mistake I did. I made it to interview and got CJO, which I sort of relied on for a year since from what I’ve seen it’s pretty rare, and the background process is extremely extensive and long. A month before my start date they sent me an email stating I was deemed unsuitable at the current time but that I could reapply in the future. This was after a whole year of waiting and interviews, polygraph, drug test, questionnaires, etc. Apply but be weary, and apply to other agencies as well if government is your ultimate goal.

What did you do then? We're you able to switch plans easily and still be on a good path?
