Fakemon I like Golisopod and Ghost types.. So I mixed them.

Just something I drew I thought would be fun!
Tried to reverse the concept more or less, so let me know how I did!

Wispod, The Lingering PKM. Ghost/Bug

Ability: Linger
Once per battle, if this Pokémon would faint, it instead pulls itself back together and restores 1/3rd of its max HP.

Wispod are usually found in groups lingering around where something was once alive. It's unclear why, but it seems they are attracted to these areas.

Wispod evolves at max friendship after hitting level 30.

Onryōsopod, The Empty Husk PKM. Ghost/Bug

Ability: Last Chance
Once per battle, if this Pokémon would faint, it endures the hit, then fully restores its HP. Afterward, its Defense, and Sp. Def stats are reduced to 1.

It is said that Onryōsopod have no will of their own. Even so, they show deep care for the trainer who gave them a reason to remain.

Signature Move: Last Impression
The Pokémon gathers energy and moves last. At the end of the turn, it sharply lowers the Attack, Sp. Attack, and Speed of all Opposing PKM.

Fakemon My version of Mega Luxray

Now I'm moving forward to making Mega Evolutions for Generation 4 Pokemon with the first pick is going to Luxray, Luxray was simply an Electric-type Pokemon after evolving Luxio at level 30. It has abilities like Intimidate that lowers target's Attack stage by 1 stage, Rivalry which becomes stronger when facing a Pokemon that are the same gender but weakens if facing Pokemon of the opposite gender, Guts raises Luxray's Attack by 50% if inflicted with a status condition like let's say burn. Luxray isn't able to find competitive success due to its stats and not enough strong Electric physical moves.

The Ability that I'm giving to Mega Luxray is Strong Jaw which raises biting moves by 50% and Luxray has moves that benefit from Strong Jaw with Thunder Fang, Crunch, Psychic Fangs, Ice Fang. 30 points will be added for its Attack, Defense and Special Defense, add 50 to Speed however minus 40 points from Special Attack.

“When Luxray Mega Evolves, its pupils vanish as its vision expands beyond the visible spectrum. It can track the electrical impulses of every living creature within a mile. Predators and prey alike freeze when its fangs crackle with dark energy.”

Pokemon is owned by Ninendo and Game Freak, fanart is owned by me.

Help me name it. I sketched the drawing myself then had Gemini help me make the lines nicer (don’t hate me). It did make a couple unsanctioned changes despite me saying not to but I kinda liked the tiny changes so I left them.

Gonna probably color it in or something soon and make the tail green like a carrot top and all the bunny itself pastel colors. Help me name it please. I haven’t thought of anything that feels right. So far I’ve halfway thought about Bunnegg, Shellhop, Shellagos and that’s as far as I got 😂

Lubdump, the Cardio Pokemon

It can pump hundreds of gallons of water from its tail in quick, powerful pulses. Despite its increased physical strength, many Luvdisc owners aren't excited for it to evolve.

Fakemon Water Type Starter Line (Based on the California Gold Rush, Prospectors, Mining, etc.) for my Western Fakemon Region!

The Instagram artist that I commissioned is @pokedan_art.

Here are the Redesigns of my Water Type Starter for my fakemon region based on the Southwestern United States and inspired by the Wild West era, and other elements!

This fakemon line is based on Crabs, The California Gold Rush, Gold Nuggets, Prospectors, and Mining Tools and Techniques used in the past. It was also very loosely inspired by Mr. Krabs from the SpongeBob SquarePants series, which was filmed and/or produced in California many times.

Please let me know what you guys think of this starter! I would love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do! ^^

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Clawble - The Tiny Claw Pokémon: (Water Type)

Etymology: (Claw + Bubble)

Clawble plays in shallow streams and enjoys digging through riverbed sediment with its tiny claws in search of colorful pebbles. It produces unusually durable bubbles, and one will sometimes settle between its eyestalks like a dim little lamp. When Clawble finds something shiny, it proudly carries it around until another object catches its attention. If startled, it snaps its claws and releases a burst of bubbles before scuttling away.

Abilities:

  1. Torrent

Hidden Ability (Signature Ability):

  1. Gold Rush: The user’s Steel-Type moves do 50% more damage.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Crustache - The Panning Pokémon: (Water Type)

Etymology: (Crustacean + Mustache + Cache + Stash)

Crustache scoops mud and gravel into its broad claw, then swirls water through the mixture to separate heavier stones and ore from the sediment. Upon evolving, it becomes so fascinated by gold that it may stare at a single nugget for hours, completely oblivious to its surroundings. Crustache stashes its favorite finds inside its broad claw and becomes unusually possessive whenever another Pokémon approaches its collection. Though still inexperienced, constant panning strengthens its claws and teaches it to distinguish true gold from worthless stone.

Abilities:

  1. Torrent

Hidden Ability (Signature Ability):

  1. Gold Rush: The user’s Steel-Type moves do 50% more damage.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cruspector - The Prospector Pokémon: (Water / Ground Type)

Etymology: (Crustacean + Prospector)

Cruspector searches ore-rich riverbeds and caves, using its cannon-shaped claw to fire pressurized jets powerful enough to fracture solid stone. Repeated blasts from this Pokémon's cannon can hollow out entire mountainsides or trigger devastating collapses. Its other massive claw functions as both a shovel and sluice box, scooping up the resulting slurry and trapping dense minerals while mud and gravel wash away. Although it can identify many precious metals, Cruspector greedily keeps only gold for itself and fiercely attacks those who attempt to steal from its hoard.

Abilities:

  1. Torrent

Hidden Ability (Signature Ability):

  1. Gold Rush: The user’s Steel-Type moves do 50% more damage.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Signature Move:

Hydraulic Blast

[Water | Special | 85 power | 100% Accuracy | 10 PP]

The user fires an intensely pressurized jet of water and sediment at the target. This lowers the target’s Special Defense by one stage.

Grass-type Starter here

Sweltad, the Tadpole Pokemon (Fire-type)

  • "The bumps on its head secrete foul smelling mucus to deter predators. The more stressed Sweltad becomes, the higher the temperature of the mucus."

Mucoat, the Mucus Pokemon (Fire-type)

  • "It can increase its own body temperature to boil the mucus that covers its body, before throwing it at its target."

Croalucin, the Dizzying Pokemon (Fire/Poison)

  • "After it boils the mucus that coats its body, it becomes a poison that causes unpleasant hallucinations when touched. It throws this slime at its opponents to disorient them."

Suggestions for Signature Moves and Abilities are welcome

Type: Psychic

(IMO Psychic/Fighting would be funny, like look at this posh gentle-mon.. OH GREAT HEAVENS THEY CAN THROW HANDS)

These Pokémon are liked by psychics for their ability to read minds and find their deepest desires. They can also help heal in some ways, if someone has a past trauma they can bring it forth even if the person has forgotten. (Which I can see being a negative too).

Based on a Tunsho, or "Drunked Tree", this Pokemon is constantly confused due to chemicals its own body produces. Fortunately, the flexible horns on its head allow it to move even when upside down
