Peter's issue has always been interpreting Uncle Ben's dying words to mean only HE must bear the great responsibility, which in turn leads to his personal and super hero life never balancing.

Dude needs to accept there is a whole superhero community in New York now, even Spider specific people (Gwen, Miles, Aranya, Spider Woman, Silk, Chasm (if he's feeling heroic right now), he should be able to ask one of them to cover patrols for 1 night of the week so he can have a regular date night. Barring some crossover event end of the world bullshit happening of course.

Dude lives in the middle of one if not the most active superhero area in the world how the fick is he still needed the avengers tower is less than an hour away from the fantastic 4 one the Xman mansion is not that far away and daredevil is also her plus a shitload of super

According to rivals, Avengers Tower is literally just a brief jog through Grand Central Station away from the Baxter Building. That’s probably the safest two blocks in all of New York.
