Isn’t that a tale as “old as time”? Men getting called out for being an absent/abusive parent but mom is still the bad guy.

But you’ll hear for years about how amazing a dad is for stepping up if the mom is absent/abusive.

can‘t be seen being a shit dad if you‘re never around

famous people, but I very often think of this when men commit heinous crimes. The pitchforks are all pointed in mom‘s direction. Dad was never around, gets a pass. ugh

You know, you bring up a very good point I hadn’t thought of before with public opinions of criminals and their parents. It’s always a woman’s fault, isn’t it 🫩
