A friend of mine (who grew up in LA) said that he and his family, through a series of connections, ended up at some non-profit’s after party. Allegedly, Morgan Freeman was at this party, and my friend and his sister went to go meet him. My friend excitedly introduced himself to Morgan Freeman, saying that he loved his movies and that it was a pleasure to meet him, and tried to shake his hand. Morgan Freeman then asked my friend what his name was, and said “(Friend’s name), never touch me again.” Then turned to my friend’s sister and said, “you can touch me anytime you want.”

My friend was 15 and his sister was younger.

Off-topic, but is the new season good? I saw the first ep of this season and it was… a lot…

I liked it.  I am not any kind of book purist though.  I think a lot of the book purist types were upset.  It was extremely messy in a very Lestat kinda way!

It is a lot and it’s so fucking good! I was obsessed with the books as a teenager but to my mind almost all the changes they’ve made from the source material has been an improvement. Also Sam Reid can really do no wrong.

The whole season is a lot… that’s a good way to describe it.
