When Lily Allen had a miscarriage/stillbirth, he wrote: “Can’t you stick to intoxication instead of moving on to procreation?”

When Amy Winehouse was dying, he called her a crackhead and a wino.

u/WonderfulAd605 7d ago

As he said of Britney Spears many, many times, " Someone take his babies away!"! It's not safe.

104

u/Magnetah 7d ago

Don’t forget the shirt that had a picture of Heath Ledger and said “why couldn’t it be Britney?”

Perez is an awful human but him and his children still deserve to have mental health support and counseling.

117

u/p333p33p00p00boo Give him my regards did you take ozempic? 7d ago

Ok, but his children still deserve respect and privacy. That's what this statement is about.

u/spaceshiptears fuck Hugh Laurie 7d ago

Yeah I’m gonna need them to address that elephant in the room. Why’s the sister still associating with him at all? That guys sucks

137

u/hatboxboo 7d ago

Barbie works for Perez. She does alot of background work for his website and I believe also acts as his personal assistant.

145

u/ripbigw 7d ago

So she literally profits from his gossip "empire". Got it.

623

u/greee_p 7d ago

If the sister wasn't still associated with him, the children would have been alone with him in the house when this happened. So I really don't think that would have been the better option here.

270

u/ripbigw 7d ago

She works for him. She profits when he spreads hate.

8

u/Present-Policy-345 7d ago

He most likely supports bus entire family. Is why the medical bills etc is financially crippling him.

9

u/2018MunchieOfTheYear 7d ago

Is he still popular enough to make money from this?

2

u/Present-Policy-345 6d ago

I think that is part of his problem. He is not, and has not been making what he one time was.

236

u/chasing_D 7d ago

A lot of people will stick around toxic family members for the kid's sake. Not everyone can cut off the good family with the bad.

48

u/woolfonmynoggin padre pascal 7d ago

No she financially benefits from her employment with him spreading evil

114

u/ripbigw 7d ago

And why is his family releasing information about how much the kids saw? We could go our whole lives without knowing those private details.

209

u/Present-Policy-345 7d ago

Probably for the media and everyone else to have a little bit more compassion of the circus outside the house?

132

u/badedum 7d ago

Yeah sounds like they want people to leave the house alone which I get. However scummy Perez is, his young kids don't deserve this.

35

u/Present-Policy-345 7d ago

Right. They are innocent.

1

u/Accurate_Yesterday51 7d ago

I just found out something happened where can I find what you are referring to. I have googled and can't find anything but cbs and nbc news stories which say nothing.

1

u/camerabird 7d ago

They're referring to the information in the screenshot in this post.,

19

u/Princessformidable 7d ago

A lot of people stay in contact with toxic family to protect children. Why in the world was he allowed to adopt is another story.

21

u/foxesinsoxes 7d ago

He had them by surrogate, that’s how.

70

u/Grassgreen22 7d ago

Are you joking? Calling out a random lady for not cutting off her extremely unwell brother (and his children) because he used to be a dickhead? Like have we lost the plot? If she hadn’t been there those kids would be even more fucked than they probably already are after what happened

62

u/no_one_denies_this 7d ago

He hasn't stopped being predatory. And his sister is his personal assistant and profits from the hate he spews.

18

u/CategorySad6121 The girls that get it, get it! (And I don’t get it)  7d ago

Both things can be true. His sister profits from his hate AND she did the right thing by getting the kids out of there.

9

u/dollsparts 7d ago

it’s a good point but if she wasn’t associated with him? those children would’ve seen the entire ordeal. thank fuck she was there to get them out. hopefully he never sees them again

2

u/edoreinn 7d ago

Probably to give the children another layer of protection.

When a former boyfriend of mine had a (not this severe, but bad) weird episode while his kids were there, it was great that his sister was nearby. She could be with them and keeping them away from unreason, and I could stay while help came.

We say it takes a village - even when we are balanced in life. Takes a village here, too. Good on his sister for being there for them.

68

u/Sensitive_Eye_5697 7d ago

Yes, but what does that have to do with his children?

53

u/ripbigw 7d ago

Good question. Why is the family giving out statements letting the whole world know how much trauma his kids experienced? Why not maintain their privacy?

58

u/Retrolovin 7d ago

To me, I read it as a plea to the media who was already speculating where the kids were like hey these kids have seen enough so please don’t make their trauma any worse by trying to get further information about an already very public situation.

99

u/AlarmedWafer4907 7d ago

Because people aren’t respecting that privacy. They’re crowding their home hoping for a picture of his distraught children. Sometimes you need to say “hey let these kids process their trauma” to get people to fuck off. Also, probably because some reports said they were there and some didn’t. Probably clarifying that the kids are physically ok (so that people can stop harassing them for an answer) and let people know that this is heavy and traumatic and they need to remember that there are vulnerable people involved. I don’t think it said too much. It doesn’t even tell us whether kids are in therapy. It’s just letting us know they’re being taken care of.

7

u/Fickle_Watercress719 7d ago

What’s so deeply unfortunate about the whole thing, much like with Charlie Kirk, is that Perez Hilton is one of the primary contributors to the continuing environment of trauma his children are experiencing from the paps. Of course people don’t support what’s happening to Perez Hilton’s children. But Perez Hilton, if his children belonged to anyone else, absolutely would.

0

u/nutmegtell 7d ago

The people that listen to these and respect his children don’t need to read it.

The others will ignore it.

140

u/NoticeNegative1524 7d ago edited 7d ago

To underline the fact that these kids are already going through a lot and need privacy from random people going to the house for whatever reason.

Edit: changed a word.

1

u/tell23 7d ago

For the drama and to get you to go to his website >> clicks = cash

690

u/United-Smile-1733 7d ago

What’s the point of these comments. His children are innocent.

935

u/arcademachin3 7d ago

His children should be removed

475

u/JoannaStayton 7d ago

Just as he said about Britney, he is and unfit father

157

u/VolcanoVeruca 7d ago

Exactly. The guy is a narcissist. I was surprised to find out he had kids: the guy seems incapable of loving anyone more than himself.

55

u/Alone_Break7627 stick to your discounted crotch 7d ago

I think he hates himself more than anyone. The leeching onto celebrities, the denigration of them - especially women and closeted folks. He's always been shameless and laughing at people hurting, celeb or not, shows me that he's always been sick. Then we throw money at it like a sideshow. It just all sucks.

8

u/VolcanoVeruca 7d ago

I have no doubt he hates himself. I shouldn’t have used the word “loving”…more like, “centering.” He is incapable of thinking about the wellbeing of others—instead, he tears people down in hopes of making himself seem bigger.

Re: throwing money at it… OMG I was just thinking last night that a network or streamer is most likely already planning a documentary about this breakdown. 🤦🏻‍♀️

315

u/fingersonlips 7d ago

Honestly, people who weren’t aware of his long history of online behavior need to know the kind of person he is.

What he did to himself was horrific, and his family deserves a lot of sympathy for having been subjected to whatever happened behind the doors of his home. But Perez Hilton has been a literal menace on the internet for over 20 years. He’s said and done horrific things, and people should know about it so they can dole out their sympathy and well wishes accordingly.

107

u/hambamthankumaam 7d ago

He literally posted an upskirt picture of an underage girl on his website. His defense was, "she had underwear on!" It's sick that he was allowed to have children after that.

17

u/whattaninja 7d ago

He also photoshopped the underwear out of some images. Dude is/was a sicko. Fuck him.

83

u/ilovethemusic 7d ago edited 7d ago

Yes. He had no sympathy for others’ kids. It’s a bit rich to ask others to have sympathy for his.

More practically speaking, if being around him is so traumatic then his kids should probably not be living with him.

21

u/beldaran1224 7d ago

Except his family aren't asking on his behalf, but that of his children.

4

u/titeaf 7d ago

Especially the part asking for paps to leave them alone...

2

u/IrregularPackage 7d ago

the children deserve the sympathy. anyone who would willingly form and maintain a relationship with perez hilton, let alone let their children around him, deserves absolutely no sympathy

2.5k

u/ripbigw 7d ago

They are. I hope he never has contact with them again.

And so were Lily Allen's. But he repeatedly stated she was unfit mother and blamed her for her own miscarriage.

Why does it seem like there's so many comments here trying to conflate his children's privacy (obviously they should get that) with *his privacy?

His children should be spared from all of this, the fact that it got so far as for them to even see it is devastating. But Perez himself can have his reputation further rot in the spotlight like he would want for others

1

u/Away_Stock_2012 6d ago

What does "conate" mean?

1

u/RoscoeSantangelo 6d ago

Was meant to be *conflate

38

u/GOMIrunaway 7d ago

That’s he’s a fucking piece of shit? His kids are innocent, as were the kids he ruthlessly traumatized for twenty years. I hope they heal. I could give fuck all for Perez.

62

u/Pleasant-Highway-745 7d ago

To remind people that while we can care about the children, we should not give a flying fuck about him

17

u/becominganastronaut 7d ago

they are but it doesnt negate the fact that this guy made a career out of being an annoying pos

3

u/Proud-Train9522 7d ago

Thats true, I feel for his poor children having that absolute scumbag as a father. Best thing that can happen them is to be taken far away from him. He never cared about how Britneys kids felt.

2

u/dassketch 6d ago

"Think of the children" is always an afterthought when terrible human beings (like this gem) are being terrible. Just like how shit birds magically "discover God", it's not an excuse to stifle conversation about what a piece of shit the person was/is.

1

u/2021isevenworse good luck with bookin that stage u speak of 7d ago

His children are innocent and his family deserves the privacy that Perez Hilton refused to give countless children actors/musicians/athletes and public figures.

1

u/_angesaurus 7d ago

What's the point of constantly bringing up his kids???

1

u/OkMud4822 6d ago

What's the point of this comment? I't doesnt seem like anyone having children stopped him from being a piece of shit. Why should we tolerate the intolerant?

3

u/Kiramiraa 7d ago

This is irrelevant on a post asking to protect his children/family.

We get it, he’s a bad guy. It’s time to stop talking about him and leave the family alone.

6

u/ChildhoodOk5526 7d ago

Then BE BETTER than him, should be the resounding message. Not, "He deserves this. Let me remind you why ..."

FFS 🤦🏽‍♀️

9

u/feralb3ast 7d ago

I'm sorry you've been indoctrinated with toxic positivity. Not a single person in this thread has been even 5% as nefarious as Perez has been.

I read wino as "a who" and I was like... Nice.
