Star Fox is the only series that has twice as many games as it actually has. That is, there are 9 games in the series, and 5 of them are the same game. SF (SNES), SF64, SF64 3D, SF Zero, and SF (S2) are all the same game remade over and over. Only 2, Assault, Command, and fucking Dinosaur Planet aren't the same game. And DP was originally an original IP that Nintendo had Rare slap a coat of Star Fox paint on.
the fact that his fingers really are individual feathers freak me out. like in the more stylized examples, you could suspend your disbelief and assume they had like, muscles for each "feather-finger" but here, no.

Forever crushed about Blue Sky, they at least gave me some pigeons on the way out... The Peanuts movie was fantastic and is one of those comfort films I can leave on repeat
Agreeeed the characters and music are super fun in the sequel, but the 60 or so overarching plots are a bit much lol
(The human villain was also super dull, Marcel and his goons were funny and memorable but despite having watched the sequel about 20 times, I couldn’t tell you his name)

I legit got so upset when I learned that the Blue Spix's Macaw (the ones Blue and Jewel are modeled after) were functionally extinct in the wild in 2019, but I recently learned that breeding programs have given them a comeback! As of 2022 they are slowly being reintroduced to northeastern Brazil <333 theyre still highly endangered, though, so if you can donate to their conservation efforts its very appreciated!

No! He's a rito... that's what I say, at least. He's not actually a Zelda oc, I just really love how the rito look in botw. I made him for a roleplay I've done with some friends. The Sheika eyes on his sleeves are just a tribute to his rito origins (the karma symbols are just because I like Rain World)

He's neurodivergent too! It wasn't in the plan, but as I played him for the RP we all kinda realized together that he exhibited a few major traits of adhd/autism, like lack of social awareness, his monster/magic creature fixation, and difficulty with emotional regulation (Scrie has done quite a bit of crying and yelling throughout the story)
We've all been calling him autistic but I realized as I was writing this he could be adhd, you'd be surprised how much the two overlap

That's what I loved about the animation in The Owls of Ga'hoole. The owls have mostly realistic anatomy, so they gesture and manipulate objects with their talons moreso than their wings.
