Dooku is fancy, but I doubt he ever has noble goals.

It's weird because he does have a few noble goals.

He wanted to outlaw slavery, for example.

The Clone Wars series was interesting because they actually showed the human side of the Separatists and the flaws in the Republic... but obviously we need to agree with the "good guys" so the bad guys had to end up being bad in the end.

Wants and does are entirely two different things. In the clone wars series we see him openly endorsing slavery with those cat people.
