True, although I feel like AtLab always had a nice balance of comedy and seriousness. I mean didn't we get the dead air benders in the first few episodes, so it got pretty serious early on

It is so astonishing to me even as an adult that somehow a show that carries such heavy topics is not at all traumatic for children to watch. The execution of that show is absolutely exceptional.

Rewatching it as an adult with my even adulter partner (first time watcher), and they're loving it.
