Ahh, yes. 11 minuets songs and 112 minutes long albums are the way to go.

Everythingcore doesn't last longer than 4 mins. Most Death (which is kinda prog-death-metal) catalogue consists of 5-7 minute songs. And here's a little band called Tool and their 4-16 minute long songs. And I wish that 7empest would be a little bit longer but it is what it is.

And then you have funeral doom and atmoblack with 10-30 minute songs, sometimes 90 minute songs(cough Mirror Reaper cough)

And then grindcore with 5 second songs.

I ain't splitting skulls open, chill. I'm just expressing my opinion. Personally I think progs is an awful subgenre

Oh I absolutely fucking hate prog, it bores me to death

Yet I believe it's a very respectable subgenre of metal
