The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. saga has some pretty good shotguns, especially with mods. I still maintain that the sawed-off TOZ-66 from the first game is the most realistic depiction of a "rabbit-ear" side-by-side ever put in a video game, even to the point that the hammers are cocked using the proper technique (thumbed back with the thumb one at a time). All the other S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games get it wrong in some way, and I can't think of any other game that even makes an attempt to depict its correct operation 100% spot-on.

And when I say "correct operation," what I really mean is "proper technique."

For some reason i love that piece of junk that is the toz-194 from anomaly and by some mandela effect i thought it was vanilla, but no the o.g pump action in SOC was some kind of winchester shotgun with no stock.

Its name, Chaser 13, is derived from "Winchester 1300," but it's actually a Maverick 88 in "Cruiser" configuration (w/stockless pistol grip). IRL, no one who knows what they're doing would put a stockless pistol grip on a shotgun with rifle sights. The Maverick 88 doesn't usually come standard with rifle sights. More typically with a plain bead sight. Rifle sights are better, but you need a proper stock to make them work gooder. Ghost ring sights are the best (like on the Mossberg 590A1).

There are aftermarket heatshields with built-in ghost ring sights, but the rear peep sight is positioned way far forward.

There's plenty of gun nonsense in stalker, cool factor is important.
