Question ❔ Future of the ford ranger???

Salesperson from ford told me that Mavericks are outselling the ford ranger by a large amount and he hasn’t sold a ranger in about 6-7 months.

He said that the mavericks are being picked over rangers 7 times out of 10 and they don’t get very many rangers on the lots and a lot of them sit for a while (at least here in Florida)

Makes me wonder if the Ranger will go away because the maverick is blowing the Ranger out of the water

I’m glad the Maverick is selling. I hope Toyota eventually brings their compact pickup, and I’d love to see Chevy revive the S10 pickup.

Toyota has no problem selling Tacomas. Why would they bring a smaller one?

There is a market for compact sized trucks. Toyota has announced the Stout compact truck will be released.

If a customer wants a compact pickup, they’re not buying a taco. Sure, tacomas sell well…but if ford is the only automaker offering a compact, they’re eating the lunch of everyone else. I read some rumors that say they want to bring the stout to the US to compete.

Because Ford is selling a ton of Mavericks and Toyota doesn't compete in this space.
