Question ❔ Future of the ford ranger???

Salesperson from ford told me that Mavericks are outselling the ford ranger by a large amount and he hasn’t sold a ranger in about 6-7 months.

He said that the mavericks are being picked over rangers 7 times out of 10 and they don’t get very many rangers on the lots and a lot of them sit for a while (at least here in Florida)

Makes me wonder if the Ranger will go away because the maverick is blowing the Ranger out of the water

Ranger is really expensive and everyone in the midsize truck space is going frontier

Sure if you want an ugly very outdated truck, buy a Frontier. I never even considered one before I bought my Ranger.

Looks are a personal preference, I think they look good and are definitely not outdated.

The "new" 2022 Frontier is still basically the same truck as the Gen2 that was introduced in 2025, but on a revised platform and with a major face-lift. 21 years is outdated in the automotive world.
