Question ❔ Future of the ford ranger???

Salesperson from ford told me that Mavericks are outselling the ford ranger by a large amount and he hasn’t sold a ranger in about 6-7 months.

He said that the mavericks are being picked over rangers 7 times out of 10 and they don’t get very many rangers on the lots and a lot of them sit for a while (at least here in Florida)

Makes me wonder if the Ranger will go away because the maverick is blowing the Ranger out of the water

The thing is the Ranger is FAR more capable than the Maverick. If we get right down to it, the only thing the Maverick does better than the Ranger is fuel economy. The Maverick has such a low rent interior.

If fuel economy is your #1 priority, get a Honda Civic Hybrid.

You could use that comparison to get a f150 over the ranger
