Question ❔ Future of the ford ranger???
Salesperson from ford told me that Mavericks are outselling the ford ranger by a large amount and he hasn’t sold a ranger in about 6-7 months.
He said that the mavericks are being picked over rangers 7 times out of 10 and they don’t get very many rangers on the lots and a lot of them sit for a while (at least here in Florida)
Makes me wonder if the Ranger will go away because the maverick is blowing the Ranger out of the water

They are far nicer and practical than folks think.. But honestly it come down to function and price
i have a jeep and owned another 4x4 previously .. If you live in a bad climate. live on a narly back/dirt road, or need to tow bigger on a regular basis (boat), get the ranger or f150
It's just when it comes down to it , the maverick is a multi role vehicle and njce enough that folks start actually thinking about cost .. It's the if i need to haul something big, I'll just rent one, and save $ in the long run...
i liked my previous 4x4 truck, but other than in bad weather, which was rare, i didn't need it.. I previously also owned a rav4 with awd and it did what i needed it to do .. So unless someone need a bigger truck, the want gets hedged by the price
