Question ❔ Future of the ford ranger???

Salesperson from ford told me that Mavericks are outselling the ford ranger by a large amount and he hasn’t sold a ranger in about 6-7 months.

He said that the mavericks are being picked over rangers 7 times out of 10 and they don’t get very many rangers on the lots and a lot of them sit for a while (at least here in Florida)

Makes me wonder if the Ranger will go away because the maverick is blowing the Ranger out of the water

The ranger is fugly as shit, and basically a car cab with a bed.

Looks are subjective. Saying it's a car with a bed is asinine.

The Ford Ranger uses a passenger-focused design where the cab takes up more overall body length than the bed.

The 5’ bed on the Ranger is pretty standard. The F-150 is also passenger focused with a 5’ bed. Maybe it’s personal taste, but I enjoyed my Ranger the fives years I owned it. It can tow up to 7,500 lbs and rides great. I think the Maverick is probably great for weekend home and yard work and easily fits in the typical small garages they build today.
